These are nice bulbs and the plus is they are dimmable-- down to very low and all the way to really bright. I have used them everyday and they work just like described. Being from Better Homes and Gardens I anticipate they will last a long time as they always make high quality products. The box says they will last 13 years, so they might outlast me, LOL I am very pleased with these bulbs.
These are perfect for eclectic or geometric style light fixtures. We don't have any so the light bulbs looked too yellow with our shades. I used it instead for my geometric desk lamp and it's perfect! As long as you know why you're buying them, they are perfect.
The better homes and gardens LED Vintage style 40 watt dimmable clear glass bulb are great!! They last up until 13 years!!! They come in soft white, which is awesome. The use only 4.5 w which is equal to 40 w. Basically cost 54 cents a year. They come 2 bulbs in a package. They have a medium base and are energy star. Great bulbs that produce awesome soft white light.
I recently got into the look and feel of vintage bulbs when I remodeled my basement and updated those bulbs to the Edison style. With these Better Homes and Garden bulbs I enjoy the "old timey" feel and coziness they bring to a space with the visible filaments and soft white glow (vs harsh bright white). Their Energy Star rating is another positive in my book. These bulbs perform as expected and I plan to purchase some in additional wattages. I'm unable to comment on longevity of bulb life for these as I've had them for six days at this point. I have also not had an opportunity to try out this bulb in the basement gaming/TV area which is where my only dimmable switch is located.
These bulbs emit a very nice golden hue of light, and they do it very efficiently. The rated 40 watts of brightness seem even brighter than the old 40 watt incandescent bulb that it replaced. And it only uses 4.5 watts to do it! That's a good trade-off in my book. I do like these bulbs. (Keep in mind that the glass globe part of these bulbs is smaller than a full size. That may affect what kind of lamp shade you can use.)
So far so good. And how cute are they? lol I'm so glad that mine arrived unbroken and without any glitches in performance so far. If that changes, or the product doesn't LAST, I WiLL be updating my review! But right now (I just got them) they are everything that I was looking for and hoping for. They give off just enough light for my purpose (which was like to have it in the "background"... a smooth, soft light that I could even fall asleep with having on. But not too, too dull or low that it wouldn't illuminate a whole room. Again, for MY particular lampshade it's not Bright! So just know what you want and what you're looking for and for what type of thing you want to put it in. Soft Light ot Daylight. And they fit REGULAR Size lamps too! Which is what I was wondering the most. So yeah, now let's see if they're gonna last! I'm pretty good at coming back to update reviews, so if you haven't seen a change then it's all good and nothing's changed. Here's hoping.
I picked up these bulbs to replace the standard size one that came with my Better Homes and Gardens pendant light. This bulb has a smaller profile, but gives off the same 40W of light while using only 4.5W of power. It looked so much better I decided not to wait the 13.7 years till burnout and switch now. That lifespan figure is based on 3 hrs per day of usage, about 1,095 hrs. This 2 pack features dimmable, clear glass bulbs with standard A15 bases, and a vintage style LED element with a soft white glow. Also included is a limited 3 yr warranty. That sounds silly on a 13 year bulb, but I've found that electronic items tend to fail early or not at all. If you need new bulbs, especially in a fixture where they will be seen, these look great and are reasonably priced.
Better homes and gardens LED Vintage style clear glass bulbs, are perfect for anyone looking to capture that vintage feeling. These bulbs are 40 W energy star efficient, contain 450 lumens, and lasts for 13 years! I use the beautiful vintage bulbs inside of my bedroom, and wow its such a noticeable difference in lighting compared to other bulbs. This softer light is perfect for reading, or just giving the space you are in a softer feel. The bulbs are beautiful, I enjoy being in the presence of their beautiful light.
These bulbs were brighter than I anticipated, but I loved the vintage look of them! The "Soft white" was not quite as yellow-toned as I normally prefer.
The Better Homes LED Vintage Light Bulb,A15 60 Watts Eqv. Soft White,Medium Base,Dim,2Pack seems to be good lights! They have lasted longer than most other brands I’ve used in the past. Not only that I have seen a difference in my power bill. I also like how it kinda resembles an old light, where u can see on the inside. All in all, I am happy I changed all my lights over to this brand and I also decreased the watt in every light as well. I highly recommend these!
