These are regular sized socket the part that screws in, yet smaller diameter like fitting in a ceiling fan fixture. Or I used in my outside porch light fixture. I've uploaded a photo holding it for better reference. These are Edison LED style so the " filament " looks yellow when not lit, and is bright white when it is. Not a soft glow in my opinion. Which is perfect for my use. I want the brighter light outside to light up the porch. I know most are a soft pale glow and this is not it, It's like a regular 40 W white light imo. It's 40 watt equivalent and uses 4 watts.

Just got the BHG A15 40W SW CLASSIC 2PK bulbs. They'll look great in my bedroom in my double table lamps on both sides of my night stand cabinets. They are not so bright which is good because they enhance skin tones and set the mood to sleep or for making love in a relaxing sexy kind of way.

When a bulb is visible in a lighting fixture, I like it to have a but more pizazz thatn the average plain Jane light bulb. These light bulbs fit the bill for the lighting fixtures I recently put up in my master bathroom. The lighting fixtures have an old fashioned charm to them and I feel that these bulbs do as well. I would recommend these light bulbs for someone looking for a particular vibe in their decor.

These fit into the standard light socket. They are smaller than the traditional light bulb and much smaller than the other LED bulbs I have used. But size doesn't limit the light you get from them. They give a bright clear light. I thought it was fairly neutral in warm/cold tint. The box said it leans towards the warm side. You can decide for yourself in the photos where I have it near a lamp with a distinctly warm (almost yellow) bulb. I like the new LED technology with the light emitting strips that resemble the old filaments in traditional bulbs. These look as good in an exposed fixture as they do behind a shade. The only limitation is the warning on the box about avoiding exposure to water. Moisture is ok, but keeping them out of the rain seems to be the message. Overall, these are bright and look like original filament bulbs.

I was having a hard time ordering a light bulb that would fit in my ceiling fan. It's pretty old, but works fine. It is a single bulb fan. Unfortunately, the decorative bulb cover will not fit over average size light bulbs. I was leaving the cover off for a while, because I just couldn't find a bulb to fit right. When these came in, I was so happy to be able to put the pretty cover back on. These bulbs put off enough light to light up my bedroom well. I used the second bulb in one of my lamps. I'm totally happy with these bulbs in my lamp, too. Lights up the dark side of my living room well. I will definitely be getting more of these for my lamps and my small ceiling fan.

I'm excited about these light bulbs. I have a small vintage fixture In my laundry room that I could only use those small curly low watt bulbs in or I couldn't put the pretty glass dome over the bulb. This bulb is just the right size with a lower power use and it is even brighter. That's pretty impressive! I highly recommend these bulbs for any and all types of lamps and fixtures but most of all, GREAT for the antique type.

I like several things about these light bulbs. One is the way they look, I like being able to see the element inside. And I especially like the fact that I am getting 40 watts of light using only 5 watts of electric power. I put these bulbs in the light fixture hanging over my dining room table, where I like to have brighter light in the morning for breakfast (to help wake me up!) and then a little dimmer for dinner to provide a more relaxing atmosphere for the evening meal. I really like that these bulbs being dimmable allows for both atmospheres from the same fixture. One last feature I found to my liking with these lightbulbs is thier physical size, they are little smaller than the average bulb, not really sure why but I just like that.

This is a package of 2 Better Homes &Gardens LED light bulbs. They're 40 watt, dimmable, medium base perfect for smaller type lamps like I have in my bedroom. And they give off a nice soft white light—- not that amber color light. They use very little energy, estimated at .60 per year and should last for 13 years! I really like the bright white light they put out. We use these in a lot of the many lamps I have.

This bulb has a unique look, like old fashioned filaments rather than LED. 40 W makes a nice amount of light. The packaging shows in in sconces. I put it in my ceiling fan lights in my living room. They look great and the light is perfect. I would buy these for the nice look.

These Better Home& Gardens LED 40w bulbs are just as bright as my previous 40w 120v soft white bulbs. There is no difference in lumens between the two with these bulbs. These bulbs fit perfectly in my bathroom fixture. Box includes 2 40w LED 5v bulbs. In short, these bulbs are "lit". haha
