I purchased these bulbs for a light fixture over our kitchen table because the current ones stuck out beyond the globe. These bulbs fit perfectly and provide sufficient lighting for the area. I'll definitely buy again when needed.

When I received these 2 light bulbs needed replacement. A ceiling light in the bathroom and a bedroom end table. They worked great in both. They look fancy, but more importantly they are soft, but bright enough. No complaints. My husband called the Thomas Edison bulbs because of their appearance.

I received the light bulbs in very good packaging. Each bulb was individually wrapped in bubble wrap as well as being supported top and bottom by cardboard. I put one of the bulbs in a porch light fixture and it fit without any problem. It seems brighter than just 40 watts. I don't know how long it will last as I just put it in the fixture.

I installed these bulbs in a ceiling fan. They work great. They are very bright and are dimmable bulbs. They are extremely bright on the highest setting. I cannot address longevity cause they have only been used a very short time. But I expect them to last. Great bulbs.

The Better Homes and Gardens Vintage Style LED bulbs are something I've been wanting to check out for a while. I really like the neat design. They have what appears to be an old style filament type bulb like you may have found in the early 1900's. They look like something Thomas Edison himself might have designed. These are 40 watt equivalent, 4.5 watts actual. The lower wattage of these bulbs actually allows you to appreciate the LED filament style without hurting your eyes too much. That is also something you have to be aware of if you need or prefer brighter bulbs. These bulbs are 2700K color temperature, which is more on the red end of the spectrum, giving them a yellowish appearance more inline with their vintage styling. I think it's a really cool design if you enjoy this bulb style and don't need brighter bulbs. They use a glass bulb housing like old style incandescent bulbs from the 90's and earlier. Many newer LEDs and even CFL's use a plastic housing, and many newer LED's have a heat sink. These bulbs do not have a heat sink. The spot where I have them would allow them to get quite warm, and they seem to be fine, so it seems like this design style and power rating does not require a heat sink. I think these are really neat, they're not overpriced, and I have no complaints, 5 stars.

My new ceiling fan has clear glass shades, so regular lightbulbs look don't look very appealing in them. That's why I love these Better Homes and Gardens Clear light bulbs. They are completely clear with crisscrossed filaments inside which gives them a very nostalgic feel. They give the clear lampshades such a pretty and polished look! They are LED bulbs so they are very energy efficient and economical. Each bulb is the equivalent of a 40-watt lightbulb and my ceiling fan uses three bulbs, so it gives the room plenty of light. I like the soft color temperature and the fact that these bulbs are dimmable.

Base 40W Eqv. clear glass A15 bulb dimmable soft white 4pack. These bulbs look and perform as an old fashioned bulb would. They have a nice soft light that's not to glaring. Easy to read by. They are dimmable also which is a nice feature if you have lamps that are dimmable. They make a nice night light on low or while watching television. I would recommend these light bulbs.

These light bulbs are very nice and work great. They are a soft light that is perfect for my lamp in my bedroom. Even though I prefer bright white bulbs every where else. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who likes the soft white light. Great product.

The BETTER HOMES & GARDENS LED light bulb (BHG A19-40W SW CLASSIC) is a basic replacement LED light bulb that fits a standard light fixture bulb socket. This light bulb is clear glass so even though it is only 40 watts if you look at it when it is lit you will get spots in your eyes! I use these bulbs inside light fixtures that have a shade on them. Being clear they generate enough light (450 lumens) to read a book under without lighting up the entire room. These LED light bulbs only use 4.5 watts of power. They are rated for use in damp locations. They are not dimmable. These LED light bulbs are supposed to have a lifespan of 13.7 years using them a maximum of 3 hours per day. If that turns out to be true these led bulbs have a 15,000 hour life. So far none have burned out in the 2 weeks I have been using them! Hopefully I will not have to replace them for many years to come.

I always have used a lot of for the forty watt bulbs for energy savings and I assume that these are much lower wattage although I'm not sure the lighting would be practical for most people. The yellow tint is not something I'm comfortable with I prefer something that I can more easily read by.I see that these are dimmable but why dim such a low level of light.
