I've tried a few brands of kimchi and this has quickly become my favorite. Slightly more mild than some, which I prefer.
not heavy on the vinegar like other store kimchi. Very delicious, well seasoned, not overly sauced, and cut at just the right size.
I like it but lots of vinegar smell. Don't use on stews- too strong. Not for sandwiches or to drink as juice
I'm basically new to eating Kimchi but this Babigo is very tasty and I use it in a variety of ways, in my scrambled eggs, on hot dog buns with Polish type sausages, in hash browns, it embellishes almost everything! I'm a convert! Read where kimchi is so good for gut health too!
I'm not an expert in KIMCHI but I tried this brand and the Lucky brand that Walmart no longer offers and I must say that the Lucky brand is a lot better tasting than this one. The Lucky Foods KIMCHI had three different flavors and all of them were better than this one. As an aside I have also tried the Jayone Kimchi and that one is not for me either. Perhaps it might be more authentic tasting, but for my American palette I must say that Lucky Foods Kimchi is the best you can get. Please bring back the Lucky Foods Kimchi. Thank you.
Economical, sure. Taste is pretty good. But WHY OH WHY does it have to be made with an artificial sweetener!!! It is a no for us.
Do not store this in your pantry. It will cause a stink even if it is unopened. I have always put unopened jars in cans in my pantry and then stored them in the refrigerator after I had opened them. But it appears as though that is not the case with this. Either that or it was leaking when I got it.
this jar was not sealed and half the contents are empty. it also was not refrigerator cold. I want a refund
Returning unsealed you can smell it in the Walmart bag it was already opened and look like it's missing some Kimichi inside
Product was spoiled in the jar. Smelled horrible she opened. Walmart did make it right though with a no questions asked refund!
