The Pen suits me well. I'm heavy-handed and the lead is really strong. I have small hands and it's a comfortable fit. I like it has grooves to help keep your fingers from slipping while writing. The design is boring, but the pen is actually made well, very sturdy. If keeping it simple means keeping the price down, I'm all about that!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this to one of my teenagers who enjoys drawing. I've purchased so many mechanical pencils that can't stand against teens! This particular pencil is much more durable than the rest of BIC line of mechanicals. The lead doesn't break as easily and comes out smoothly on paper. It's consistent, same color throughout instead of the faint shadows some of the other pencils have while you're writing. My son loved this pencil and I will definitely purchase more soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially didn't think I'd see much of a difference in a simple mechanical pencil, however this mechanical pencil feels very well made and has a little weight to it, which I liked. It has a very comfortable grip on it and the lead is strong and doesn't constantly crack like other brands that I've purchased in the past. I work as a teachers assistant and constantly use mechanical pencils to guide & help students on their assignments. I usually go through pencils and pens very quickly, but this pencil has lasted me a while now and has held up to my daily use. I will definitely be keeping a few of these in our classroom to use daily.

The body of the pencil is heavy-duty compared to some other mechanical pencils we've used. The eraser is a little different with being twist out for style. My son's handwriting is pretty nice with this pencil as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pencil is great for my middle school son who presses harder than he should when using a mechanical pencil. This pencil has a premium professional barrel and 75% stronger lead than normal BIC mechanical pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mechanical pencil was comfortable to write with and it wrote smoothly. I didn't have any smearing of the lead. This has an easy to twist out eraser at the top which I think is a cool feature. The packaging also states this pencil has advanced shock absorption mechanism that helps prevent lead breakage. Overall, a nice sturdy mechanical pencil!

It's a quality mechanical pencil, but I did not find it comfortable to hold because it has no soft rubber grip. There are any number of more comfortable alternatives to consider.
