We are smokers and the Bic lighters work in just about any type of condition without going all wild like some lighters tend to - such as flare up when left out in the warm to hot car and then tried to be lit. These lighters are also the best in "coming back to life" after getting wet and allowed to dry out. I have tried other lighters, but none are as promising to light and work right at all times like this brand does. Worth the price, really like the colors and patterns, and use them for lighting my cigarettes, candles, when burning debris in the backyard, and whenever I need to and it is reliable. One regular size lighter through regular use by me lasts 30 to 45 days, others brands of lighters don't come close.

I've been using the bic minis for a while but I'm going to start using these again because they're just easier, overall. they won't get lost in my purse as easily as the minis

Two of the six BICs were duds. However they turned out to be excellent devices for making your thumb raw and red from many naive attempts to get them to work.

$13.00 for 5 lighters? I must have been out of my mind. I don't remember seeing this price when I ordered them. Sure not going to make that mistake ever again.
