BIC Pencil Xtra Precision Mechanical Pencil, Clear Barrel, Fine Point (0.5 mm), 5-Count

i like using .5 led for pencils and i was trying to find some inexpensive ones, these ones were perfect :) they were right on time, free shipping, and packaged safely. each pencil comes with 3 stick of led inside as well! this was a total steal, 100% recommend :)

She was giddy with joy when I explained we had test the Xtra Precision MP and then write a review. She was all over these pencils! She is in honor arts class and never leaves home with her drawing pad. Needless to say she forgot she was here to visit me. Her review is as follows: They totally awesome to draw with! They are 100% better than her art pencils. She wrote a letter for Father's Day to give to her dad and she said they were like "writing with butter!" So this product was reviewed by a 15 yr old and she said if she could she would give them a 15 stars !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these because my handwriting is terrible, in part due to a tremor in my right hand, and i thought if i could erase my mistakes that would at least help some of the issue, but what i discovered was they write so smoothly that my writing actually got better even without the need to erase.

I like the fine line, it works very well for drawing as well as writing. The main thing that made me want to use it was that the lead did not break every other stroke as has been my experience with mechanical pencils. I will definitely switch to this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed these pencils - they wrote clearly, the lead was strong, and lasted a long time. I like the all grey look with just colored paperclips. The erasers that came on the pencils weren't anything great, but they did not leave marks on my paper when I tried to erase something.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Xtra Precision Pencils come in an assortment of 5 colors. The pencil is extremely lightweight making it easy to hold. It almost feels like nothing is in your hand. It has a very thin pencil lead so makes it feel like it will break so it is best not to allow the lead to poke out too much. The print color comes out fine but at first I felt like I needed to apply more pressure than usual to have the color not appear to lightly. I do not really care for the eraser. It has a hard feel to it and does not really erase very well. This would be a good #2 pencil for school age children to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sure what the differnce is with these pencils, They seem to be the same as all the others. They do work well. Pretty straight forward. I believe the lead is the same size as all the other 0.5mm pencils. I use a lot of pencils for our design services. Nothing negative..
