I had these for years now and every time I write with them they have always worked for me. Even in school, it's nice to use a reliable ballpoint that if it gets stolen I can just pull out another one. These pens made me want to collect more and more of them.

The color is black the package states that they write 90% longer which gives them their extra life distinction. There are 10 in a package which is great for my family. My daughter is taking classes this semester and is using one in class to take notes. She really likes them. So far these Bic pens are true to their word as their packaging states that the pens write first time, every time. Every pen that we have tried so far, wrote the first time. My household definitely loves these pens and will definitely purchase them again.

It did stick a little bit and sometimes the ink would not connect with the page. The majority of the time, the pen did write well.
