It's true! No programming requied to swap out and use this new remote from the original, tiny one. Put batteries in and use. Really. Love the size, and the easy-to-use buttons are relatable to those on the original. Also a built-in flashlight! What an excellent buy this was!

This remote was just delivered. I put in 2 AAA Batteries and it worked right away. No programing was required. My TV is a TCL Brand with Roku built in it. I like the fact that the buttons are big and bright on this new remote. I watch TV at night lying in bed and I sometimes hit the wrong button because the lights are off and I cannot see what button I am pushing. I also use a cable box remote. This new remote has a built in flashlight so when I drop the cable remote on the floor or lose it in the bedding I can find it easier. It has preprogrammed streaming buttons too just like my old remote. The buttons are "Netflix", "Prime", "Hulu", "Disney Plus", "YouTube" and "Apple TV". This makes it easy to go to different Streaming channels you subscribe to without opening the Menu screen to go to their sites.

This is a very nice remote. I love that there aren't any special buttons to push to pair it up with your tv or device. It is easy to see the buttons.

This is perfect for me. I'm a senior citizen and the buttons are bigger then a regular remote. I'm very pleased with it. I recommend it for anybody.
