My son wanted a chair for gaming and this one is perfect! It is made very well and stands up great with no slouching or sinking. I am 5'4, 130 pounds and this chair holds me up and is really comfortable. I purchase two, one for each of my sons so they would not fight over one, and I steal this to sit in and read sometimes.
Very sturdy and well made. I wil be giving this chair to my grandson as one of his christmas gifts. I believe this chair would be perfect for up to about 12 years old as far as size goes. The material is very sturdy and has no flaws that i have noticed. the handle on the top will be perfect for toteing around the house. I will probably be buying another one for my grandaughter soon.
My 7 year old loves his bean bag. It has much more structure than a traditional round bean bag but it can take the rough-housing of wild children. The zipper is locked so no worry about spillage. He uses our whole gaming or reading and will also flip it and use it that way, it fluffs right back up when I put it right.
Finding a compact seating option that balances durability with comfort can be tricky, but the Big Joe Joey Junior Bean Bag completely hits the mark. It is a fantastic, heavy-duty piece that holds up remarkably well to the daily wear and tear of a little one. Here is a breakdown of our experience: Firm and Supportive Structure Out of the box, this bean bag provides a surprisingly firm and supportive seat. Unlike a lot of other options that immediately sink to the floor and lose their shape, the Joey Junior retains its form beautifully. Even after heavy use, it requires very little fluffing up to get it looking perfectly full and structured again. Cozy and Versatile Space At 1.5 feet, it has a brilliant space-saving footprint. It fits neatly into small corners to create a dedicated, cozy space that is absolutely perfect for a little one who loves snuggling up with a good book. It also serves as an excellent, soft spot to gather and store their oversized mountain of stuffed animals when they aren't playing with them. Heavy-Duty Materials The durability is where this item truly shines. The gray polyester-nylon blend is exceptionally thick and tear-resistant. It easily withstands a little one dragging it across the room, and the material wipes clean in seconds, making it incredibly easy to maintain. Pros: Holds its Shape: Provides a uniquely firm and supportive seat. Low Maintenance: Requires almost no fluffing up to keep it looking new. Cozy Footprint: The perfect 1.5-foot size for a little one snuggling in tight corners. Built Tough: The nylon blend is rugged, tear-resistant, and easy to wipe down. Bottom Line: If you want a compact bean bag that won't turn into a flat pancake after a week, this is the one to get. It offers great support, feels incredibly durable, and provides a perfect cozy retreat for your little one.
This bean bag chair was exactly as described. The size, color and material description were all accurate. An added unexpected bonus was the shipping box! There was a window, a door, ivy and stones printed on the outside of the box. There are instructions printed on the bottom of the box on how to turn it into a castle! What a great idea! I can't wait to give this to my grandson for Christmas! He loves building forts out of empty boxes! I didn't take a photo of the chair because I didn't want to take it completely out of the box for fear I wouldn't get it back in!
I have bought this exact Big Joe Joey chair about three times now, so I feel a pro with it haha. I keep coming back to it because, for the price, it is incredibly hard to beat, but you definitely need to know what you are getting into regarding its durability. On the positive side, it is a great little lounge chair. It doesn't take up a ton of space, but it is still the perfect size for lounging, reading, or gaming, even for a shorter adult. It is also super lightweight, so you can easily toss it into a corner or move it around without any effort. The fabric is easy to clean, too. Spills wipe right off, which is a massive plus. The catch is that you are going to get about a few years (1-4 depending on use, in my opinion) of solid use out of it before it starts showing its age. In my experience, it has about a two-year lifespan. Over time, the inside beans definitely deflate, and although they do sell new beads I believe, the seam fabric also starts to fray (but that may be from my little dog losing her toys under it). If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable bean bag chair and don't mind buying a new one down the road or just need it for a few years like a dorm room situation, it is a fantastic buy. I will probably be buying my fourth one this time next year!
I wanted to love this item. My major complaint is that the beads are soo noisy. Too noisy. Like nails on a chalkboard noisy. Everybody in the room would get annoyed with the amount of sound it made so nobody wanted to sit in it. Very difficult to watch or chat or hang out when every little turn or movement was overwhelmingly loud and obnoxious. Bummer cuz it's reasonably priced.
The big Joe Joey beanbag chair started out great, it was full and comfortable and really held it's own shape for the first two weeks. After the initial two weeks I noticed the shape and comfort level of the chair dramatically declined and was almost fully flattened in shape and texture. I'm not sure what the problem is, if the product inside just shrinks in size or texture, but it's definitely not a bean bag chair anymore. There is still a small section of the bottom that can still be sat on but it's mostly just the chair and no more beans!
I ordered this bean bag but the camo one that it says was out of stock. So, I sent it back, sent a message saying that I needed the navy one, not the camo, and they sent the replacement. Guess what? It's camo. Funny, maybe if they stopped sending the camo one out for other colors, it wouldn't be out of stock. Get it together.
It's a great chair for the value, but they have sent me the wrong color twice. I ordered Navy and they sent Camo both times. I contacted customer service for the first return so that they might be able to actually get Navy sent to me, but he recorded it and Camo showed up again. I need them this weekend for a kids party, so I can't return them again. I am frustrated.
