We bought this for my 9 year old daughter's room. She loves it! It is actually large enough for her and her stuffed animals. Her brother likes to hang out with her in the chair too. The color was more purple than pink. When she goes to hang out in her room we ask her is she is hanging out with Joe. We have had it for a week but love it so far. We will more than likely be buying one for my son's room too!

This chair shape and fit works fine for me. It came completely stuffed and ready to use out of the box. I bought it and a couple others for a small pool house where traditional couch/chair would take up too much space. I sit and am comfortable, but don't sit for multiple hours at a time. Im 68 inches, 145 pounds, husband is 75 inches 175 ponds. We have no issues sitting with legs extended or crossed. I like that I feel back support and can rest my head. I have to see how long it holds up, but am hopeful. Our use is occasional.

Just recently picked up this chair after having shipped to my local Walmart. My girls (ages 11 and 10) were asking for a chair for their room where they could sit and read quietly. We ended up choosing this chair as one of their birthday presents and it fits perfectly in their room. I sat in it myself and it is quite comfortable and fits the purpose. The back of the chair needs to be against a wall though. It will stand like the picture on it's own, but if you sit in it, it won't really stay that way. My (almost) 5 year old likes it too. Likes to sneak in the girls' room and sit on it whenever possible. I'm thinking about getting him one for his room as well. I think the price is a little high too but still would recommend.

My daughter wanted something to sit on while reading a book or watching TV on her notebook while the bed doesn't work for her nor sitting at her computer desk. I found this and bought it for her. She loves it. It's very light and folds in half to put away in her closet when she's done. We'll see how long it will last.

These are pretty large, but very comfy. My students LOVE reading on them. One of the only cons is that the beans inside seem to flatten over time. I keep rotating the chairs so the kids aren't sitting on the same spots all the time. I still worry that I may need to replace the beans sometime in the future.

Redoing my daughter's bedroom, we ordered this chair in the lime green and passion pink. Both arrived quickly. Comparing it to three other styles of Big Joe chairs, it was the most comfortable. My ten-year old and my four-year-old can fit on it side by side and they love it. Trying to decide on color, we ordered the chair in lime and pink. The lime looks great and is a good match to the color online, but the pink actually is more of a bright purple. We bought it online, but returning it to the Wal-Mart was easy. The chair does take up quite a bit of room and really needs a wall to lean up against to stay upright when leaning against the back, but it met our needs perfectly.

We love this chair, it's super comfortable and easy to move from one room to another. Our only complaint is that the cover isn't removable to wash. With 3 kids and a dog this is important to us. I should have read closely to make sure the cover was zip off.

Zipper handles are missing. Tried opening it but it is impossible without the zipper handles. So if you want to refill the cushioning, you can't. Small foam fillings keep on spilling out as well (not through the zipper, but there are no evident holes either).

I ordered 2 of these for my sitting area in my room. When the boxes came I knew I was going to be disappointed because the week before I ordered 3 x large bean bags and the boxes were very large. The picture is deceiving because it shows a grown woman sitting in it the problem is she has to be less than 5 ft. The chair is not soft not comfortable and maybe would work for 6 yr old.
