These are small,compact jack stands. The stands are built well,(don't forget the instructions, you do need to bend the locking tangs into place) . Perfect for the little projects needed.

These jack stands are solid steal, although had to tell in the photo - the seams have good welds. under each feet are small triangle supports welded in the inner corners to prevent the feet from expanding. The black support top is thick iron. This is a 2 ton jack stand but looks to be buit better than a 3 ton. The only thing lacking is a lock pin, however you would have to put great force downward to release the top section to drop the vehicle. (it would have to be intentionally forced) Paint is not important to me - but to make a note here they are nicely painted with tough paint. Its clear to me to this company has built a great high quality Jack Stand, especially when you compare these Jack Stands with others. Nice to see a company still building products of great quality. Taking time to do it right.

way smaller and shorter than i expected but for 29 dollars what can you expect?

These jack stands were pretty good and had no trouble holding up the whole side of my car even on the dirt.
