Decent construction (not fragile). Easy to use pushbuttons to rotate head and adjust extension. Snowbrushes with the brush running along the handle are hard to use when removing snow atop the car roof. Better the brush is perpendicular to the handle, but a brush may take more strokes to clear a heavy load of snow. At home, I use a sweeper brush with soft bristles to clean a big load of snow off my car, but I don't want to tote it around inside the car. This is like have the sweeper, but in a convenient smaller size that folds down for easy storage. While my sweeper broom has soft bristles (other sweepers are hard) to not scratch my car, this item is also soft, but a solid edge to prevent snow from running through bristles. Wish I had this a long time ago. I keep a folding shovel in my car to dig out of deep snow, but needed something to dig my car out of the snow that piles atop of it. While the head can be locked at angles instead of just perpendicular to the handle, I'm not sure why I would want acute angles to remove snow atop the car. Mostly I use the head at 90 degrees to pull off the snow, or at 0 degrees to fold up to stow. Nothing spectacular about the plastic ice scraper at the end of the handle. The same as on any other scraper, but plastic can often not do well to remove frost or ice off the windows (I have a brass metal scraper for the tough stuff on the windows, and brass is software than glass, so no scratches). A brass bladed scraper would add to the cost of this item, plus you have to make sure not to hit the brass blade into the rubber seal of the windshield or moulding around the windows, so a plastic scraper is safer. There is a hole in the plastic scraper to hang the unit from a nail, but I leave my car gear inside my car all year long. Sometimes you're not sure that spending more will get you a better product, but that's true in this case. I'll buy another to keep in my other car.
