Bike Trailer Cargo Cart for Dogs and Pets

I am impressed with the quality and workmanship of the Aosom pet trailer. It was simple to assemble and easily broke down for transport. The trailer rides smoothly with easy maneuverability. My new puppy and I will be enjoying our bike rides together this summer!

This is an excellent pet trailer, and given its quality, it is an amazing buy. Plus, Aosom got it to me in just one day! The workmanship is better than I expected. And, my dog likes to stick her head out of the extra zippered hatch in the top of the nylon cover. Most pet trailer do not have such a hatch. The hitch works with a standard quick release or bolt on axle. Larger axle systems such as a 12x142 will need an adapter (check Robert Axle Project). The trailer frame and wheels are steel, which makes for a slightly heavier rig, but it is very robust. The weight capacity is rated at about 70 pounds. The nylon cover/body and zippers are durable and well made. The cover/body is very roomy. My dog weighs 60 pounds, I could fit two dogs her size in the trailer (that would exceed the weight rating so I will not do that). Nonetheless, my dog has ample space for a comfortable ride. The wheels/hubs are quick release. But, it is not a standard bicycle quick release system. Rather, it is a spring tensioned lever in the frame that can be pulled out to install the wheel. When the lever, which is under spring tension, slides back in its final position it mates with a slot in the hub axle to hold the wheel in place. It works well and makes removing the wheel very easy.

Great doggie bike trailer. Hands down best deal on these that you will find. Ordered on Sunday, Frugah shipped it on Monday, doesn't get any better than that. Our two 10lb dogs fit easily with plenty of room to stand and walk around. I highly recommend this bike trailer.

I love this trailer! I added a small doormat sized carpet with sticky rubber bottom so that my two little dogs would have something more secure to sit and stand on. My only wish is that the top would also have a plastic cover option (like the front panel has) for rain. There is one metal ring inside to attach a leash to. I will need to find a short piece of webbing and put a clip on both ends to attach my dogs harnesses to the inside. These are the only reasons I didn't give five stars. It's a great trailer.

We got this for our 20 pound Welsh Terrier and couldn't be more pleased. Set up was easy and the quality is great. This will fold to go in our RV for great trips around the US!

Great, except need a stronger front door mesh screen. Puppy already put 3 holes in the front mesh screen. Otherwise excellent product for the price. Trails great.

Well constructed, but the cover is pulled very very tight. I'm worried the zipper might come apart, or else I would have given 5 stars. Only time will tell.

I'm pleased with everything about the pet trailer from ease of assembly, self explanatory installation of trailer hitch adaptor on bicycle to minimal drag when pulling the trailer...except the mesh in the zipped doors is quite fragile and has already torn when my dog puts her feet against the mesh. I'm trying figure out how to stitch new and stouter fabric mesh into the doors... fingers crossed! Shame when only used 3 times.

Love the pet trailer! Works great, pulls as though not there with 2 - 25# dogs. Lost 1 star because it did not come with instructions and I had to redrill 1 hole for the pin to align. Holes that fabric body had for reflector installation had to be enlarged for screws to penetrate. All in all, a great buy and a great pet trailer!

I was really excited about this trailer, but shortly after going about half a mile, my dog got excited and put his paws on the front mesh. This front mesh is very weak and began ripping immediately, with the dog putting a few holes in the screen. If my dog wanted to, he could've shredded the screen in seconds and escaped. So I had to turn around and end our ride. I reached out to Aosom customer support via email 6 days ago, describing the issue and included pictures, but other than the auto-reply they haven't responded to me yet.
