Make sure you have set the right setting. After getting this I was doing a water seal change and wanted to try it out on the case bolts and didn't read it right and stripped one. I was able to fix it with a thread chaser from Bolt and all was well.
Woah baby what a tool! Great functionality, high quality, easy to use. Perfect tool for any Motorhead! -m-2003 YAMAHA YZ250F--
Just did a full rebuild and this was the perfect piece to have. You definitely need to make sure your bolts are to spec.
This is exactly what I needed, I have used it several times and it has performed perfectly every time
After plenty of adjusting it seems to be within tolerances. I tested it against a digital torque wrench to see how close it is. After numerous adjustments and tests it seems to be okay. My things aren't going to the moon so I. can sacrifice a little accuracy. Don't like the lock screw on the bottom though.
I calibrated it, just went with it, followed the instructions, appears to be working properly when torquing multiple bolts at same torque range. nice storage box.
Durable must have tool. The conversion chart that it came with required a bit of google to figure it out. They could have made the chart a bit more simple.
Lets face it, your not going to get a high quality T Wrench for under $100+. With that said it works well and is a great value. Cant hold a candle to a $200 Wrench but for its value I would recommend.
Really easy to use and it seems durable. The problem is that I don't think it's accurate. I did a rebuild recently and had everything to torque spec, but a couple of nuts rattled loose.
I don?t use. Scale measurements not easy to read and engraved too small to be handy. It?s not easy to use. Buy craftsman.
