BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 & Flu A/B Combo Rapid Self Test, 2 Count – Results in 15 Minutes

Out of state daughter sick with no one to help her. It was late at night and I was really worried. Wanted her tested for Covid and flu. I knew there was a Walmart in her town and ordered testing kit plus some over the counter pain relief, tissues, etc. it was delivered that morning. Saved the day!

I purchased the BinaxNOW COVID-19/Flu A%26B Combo Self-Test (2-count) because my household is sick and we needed answers quickly. I followed every step in the instructions carefully and exactly, and both tests came back invalid. When you're sick and spending extra for trusted name like Abbott, getting two invalid tests in the same box is unacceptable. Walmart does not refund these, so I essentially flushed $40 down the toilet (including, tax, express delivery, and tip) for something unusable. Abbott offered to send replacements when I called them, but that's not much help when the replacements won't arrive for 3-4 days. It's pointless - you can't use the tests after 4 days of being symptomatic. Save your money and buy a different brand, these are not reliable, and I'm now having to go out while sick to buy something else.

The test wasn't expired. I took both in the packet. Followed the directions perfectly. The first test showed positive for Covid and had a line for flu b. The second test showed positive for flu A. I took them within 30 minutes of each other . The control line is clear and defined in both. Total waste of money . Very disappointed

Spent $20 on these tests and BOTH were invalid. If I didn't have way too much experience doing these tests, I'd assume it was my fault. however, I have triple checked the directions and performed them correctly, and the liquid never made it more than halfway up the test both times. Walmart won't refund them and I've been jumping through hoops trying to get in touch with the company.

I did not receive this item and it says that I can't get a refund either. This is not a great business transaction at all. BinaxNow Covid plus flu an and b was not included in my delivery items.

Followed the instructions exactly as stated. Used 4 drops…. Exactly as it stated to do and is clearly marked on test. Fluid did not even absorb into test strip. Do we have Covid?? Do we have the flu?? Who knows. The test is faulty, couldn't get any kind of reading and now that's just more money wasted because it's a non returnable product (not that I'd return a used Covid test) but you can't even get your money back on a faulty product.

This is a rapid covid /flu test. I had been sick for several days. I paid to have it delivered within 3 hours. Upon receiving it, the instructions read not to use if you'd been sick for more than 4 days. How ridiculous. Of course I had to order a different test and fast ship it, costing me even more money.

It isn't mentioned anywhere in the item description, but if you zoom in on the image of the box you will see that it says, "Do not use this test if you have had symptoms for more than 4 days or no symptoms at all." I ordered this for outside pickup and didn't read the box until I got home. I called Abbott and they confirmed that the test is not valid if you have had symptoms for more than 4 days, which I have. Unfortunately, Walmart does not allow returns on this item. The item description should make this very clear, especially since returns are not allowed. This was a complete waste of my time and money.
