The day that this jacket arrived had the downpour of the decade. The jacket is a little bit heavier than I thought, but this is not a problem at all. One feature that I really appreciate is the length of the coat, it goes down halfway down from the waist and knees. Overall this jacket is a real winning and I am super happy with it.

This Bimini Bay Expedition Jacket is a very efficient rain coat with many great pluses ,including it is soft the exterior and wipes off easily shedding liquids and rain quickly .Waterproof and breathable and lined .All the pockets have zippers and flaps so no water penetrates .All the seams are taped no water enters ever and warm but not sweaty just nice and comfortable .Three quarter length makes this Bimini Bay rain jacket protect quite well and with a full length zipper and a front flap with snaps you never get wet .There is a hood with velcro closure and drawstrings that stores in the collar if not needed and still looks great .The sleeves also have velcro closures not rain or wind enters there There is an interior chest pocket just right to store the included coat storage bag .Very comfortable with the lining and soft touch outsides ,plenty of pockets and easy folding to store in it's included bag .The dark grey color is easy wipe dry and stays looking nice everything I need it so tough yet elegant .This coat will last many years and remain comfortable and new appearance .

I highly recommend this really cool jacket! The fit is great and it keeps you dry without getting you too hot. The hidden hood is nice for keeping you dry too. The closure zipper and snaps really help to keep thhe rain and weather out well. If you are looking for a good rain jacket try this one. You will be glad you did.

It is perfect for spring and the fall! It feels soft, lightweight but has a solid feel. It is a rain jacket! The size fits as described. It is fully taped and seamed to keep water out. It is water repellent and breathable and am not feeling hot when dressed. It would keep one warm and dry instead. The zippers are all covered and protected. It has stowable hood and the whole jacket is easily folded back and stored in the provided carrying bag. Yes, the pockets also have zippers.

The fabric has a nice feel and not plastic-feeling like some similar jackets. I like the length but that seems to be part of the only problem, which is the zipper is a little difficult to start because it's so low and does seem to stick a bit. Maybe a little wax or soap, rubbed on the zipper will help. It's nice that it has a hood that can tuck away and it all stores in a pretty small and convenient pouch. All in all, it's decent to have in case of a quick unexpected shower.

Jacket seems nice although I've only worn it twice as now it's getting warm out. Seems like it's well-made and I don't put it back in the bag after I'm done

This jacket has many nice weather proof features. The hood has a draw cord which makes a snug fit to your face keeping out wind driven rain. Rugged zippers with fold over protection fastened with grommet snaps appear very waterproof. Lots of zippered weather resistant pocket space, and a warm liner that withstands moisture. The shell material itself is similar to that used in London Fog rain gear. Its quite heavy, manufactured by Bimini Bay for active sportsman. Size medium fit me quite well with a 38 inch chest.

This product is very well made. The size seems to run a little big but that really isn't much of a problem when it comes to a rain coat in my opinion. The material is comfortable to wear and think it will last a long time. I am very satisfied with this product.

I had this Bimini Bay rain jacket for a couple of weeks but didn't have a chance to really try it out until a couple of days ago...we had some very heavy rain, and of course I had to get out in it...and this jacket really proved it's worth! It's completely waterproof and offers a lot of protection. I like the hood, which can be zipped up into the collar if you don't need it. The jacket is fully lined, so it gives you a bit of warmth too, but it's also breathable, so you can wear it when it's warm without getting too hot in it. It has zippered pockets and it's a bit longer than the typical jacket, it comes down well over your hips so it will help keep your pants dry too. It's very packable and comes with a waterproof pouch so that you can tuck it into a travel bag or suitcase. The quality of the jacket is very high and I would say it's comparable to much more expensive jackets that you will find in sporting goods stores. All around great jacket, I highly recommend it!
