Bio-Active Non Polluting Cyanuric Acid Reducer Powder for Pools, 16 Oz

My cyanuric acid was climbing out of the normal protective range and Bio-Active brought it back to normal levels within 7 days. I highly recommend this product if your cyanuric acid is too high.

The cyanuric was at 105, legal limit for our membership pool is 100. Normally we would drain 25,000 gallons out which is one third of the pool. The pool would be closed for a week. No real down time with this reducer it was great. Saved work and a bigger water bill. Got the pool down to approximately 85 ppm.

I have a 18,000 gallon pool that is new to me. Checked the CYA and was over 200ppm. Added on pack waited 7 days and added a second. Dropped the CYA to around 100ppm. At that point just drained some water.

Pool water is now great.

Purchased 2 8 oz bags. Used over the course of 8 weeks with no change. Purchased a 16 oz bag and so far over the course of 15 days, no change in the Cyanuric acid.

This product did nothing to decrease the cyanuric acid in my pool. I ended up emptying pool 70% and using a super shock that does not contain stabilizer. Do not waste your money on this product.

I followed the directions as stated. No improvement in the cyanuric acid levels.

Bought this over priced cya to add to my pool because of chlorine block. Did exactly as instructed on bag. Waste of money. Didn't do a thing for my pool.

I love Doheny's, but I precisely followed the product directions and it did not reduce the CYA by even one PPM.

If zero was a thing it would be zero. My pool professionals told me it would not work but I spent a lot of money to prove they were right. I followed the directionsbto the letter. Not a thing. Would i buy it again? Not a chance. Recommend to a friend? No!!!
