This is - by far- the best flat iron I've had. It's the closest to salon quality and it heats up quickly! I like that I can see the temperature and don't have guess on it. It handles really well and isn't as heavy as some other irons I've used. The only thing missing a pouch for it, so I used one that my previous iron came with and it works fine. I like to have a cover incase I travel w/ it.
Sadly I left my favorite flat iron behind at a hotel over the summer and was hopeful that in the 15 years since I'd had my GHD, good flat irons didn't need to cost so much anymore. So I took a chance on a $20 model by another brand that had ceramic plates and “looked” like a good model. It wasn't. It snagged my fine hair and made it staticky and frizzy so I had to return it. This time I spent an inordinate amount of time researching the trendier high end brands these days (including Dyson, T3, and GHD.) The bio ionic 10x kept consistently coming up as having comparable technology without the price tag. It's slightly less expensive than those other brands so I decided to try it and figured I'd go all out and splurge on a Dyson if the Bio Ionic didn't perform. I'm happy to say it gives an extremely glossy, even shine. The vibrating plates do seem to make a bit of a difference in terms of even heat penetration. The only reason I didn't give this model a perfect score was because the outside part of the iron does still get a bit too hot to the touch when left on for a while. That's made it somewhat cumbersome to handle at times but theoretically could also make it a fairly effective curling tool if you're someone who likes to curl with your flat iron too. I still couldn't tell you how it compares to the bigger name brands that cost twice as much but I'm sticking with this one because it does the job, leaves hair extremely soft, shiny, and healthy, even for fine hair. Excellent value and results for the price point.

Sleek and easy to handle. Heats up super fast and quickly straightens my fine shoulder length hair.
My wife loves this. A huge improvement over the one she had.
This is the best straightener I have ever used. I have medium length, semi thick, naturally wavy hair. This has not caught a single stray hair and makes it so smooth and shiny. In my other straighteners I've always turned them up to max heat, but I keep this around 320 and use the vibration and it works perfectly, even if I air dry. I am such a fan of this!
I have literally spent thousands of dollars on hair straighteners over the years. Some have worked well and others not at all but none were ever amazing until this one. I have spent more and I have spent less on straighteners. This one is on the more expensive side and if it last it is definitely the perfect hair straightener for me!
I have naturally curly hair and extremely thick hair. This straighter is by far my best investment. My amazing beautician uses it on me, so i decided to invest This is my second one and ive not found one that controls my hair and keeps it straight without damaging. It doesn't take an hour and a half to do my hair like the other straighteners.
I would not recommend this seller at all. The package hold during transition and require seller to reach out to solve that issue but seller didn't respond back when I reach out. I have to wait almost two weeks to solve this with Walmart.
too complicated to use. to thin
