It is expensive but worth every penny. Use it on your ornamental trees in the spring and they are good for the year. It really will protect those trees for all kinds of bugs and disease that will kill them. It also provides food, but to me the protection is the most valuable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Bayer 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and feed for about 5 years or more on my fruit trees, 2 Cherry and 1 Purple Plumb to control Japaneese Beetles. Prior to that I had tried the traps which only drew in more beetles from the neighbors yards and trees. What seemed like thousands of them! I then tried spraying the trees myself with another manufacturers product for a few years with almost no effect and also inadvertantly got a spray back into my face causing what I believe is the reason for my complete loss of smell evidently doing something to my ole factory (sp). Use of this Bayer Tree and Shrub product took all of the work and danger out of the process and completely rid us of the Beetles as far as the treated trees were concerned. And it is so easy to mix in a spray can and spread around the base of the tree. With the way the systemic process and effect works it somehow takes care of the beetles even it some have the courage to attempt a landing. Meantime, the trees are fourishing to boot. I love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i had been watching my bushes and trees slowly die and turn a ugly color of brown, i tried everything from miracle grow to making a mixture from a recipe i found online , needless to say didnt work so my neighbor gave me what was left out of her bottle which was from Bayer, couldnt believe it but i tried it anyway i had nothing to lose except my seedlings and bushes , the 12 month Tree and Shrub protect and feeds does just that ,it is AMAZING to say the least they are turning around and looking healthy and seems to be growing so get this product and try for yourself and you will see what i am talking about

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many of the Ash trees in SW Ohio and my neighborhood have died because of the emerald beetle. A local nursery recommended this product a few years ago. I apply the product to the base of the trees twice a year... Thanks Bayer for making a GREAT product and keeping my beautiful Ash trees healthy and pretty !!!

I bought this 3 weeks ago after trying to get rid of afids. I tried using seven dust liquid spray and it would only last 4 or 5 days and my crepe myrtles would be covered again. The tree and shrub granules have gotten rid of all of the afids in 3 weeks. I did apply the 14 day bayer tree and schrub to kick start the process to give the granules time to set in. No more spending hours trying to knock them off with a water hose. This stuff is a life saver and a crepe myrtle saver. Thank you so much bayer.

My crape myrtle trees, rose bushes and citrus are virtually bug-free, including the pesky aphids that are a real problem in our area; but not for me. Many of my fellow Master Gardeners and horticulturist friends utilize Bayer systemic products for the very same reasons I do. Just try them once and you'll see the difference.

Great Product for treating Trees and Shrubs against Borer Worms, Been using it for years. Its Pricey but worth the cost.

I treat a large grouping of ash, most 23” diameter. We were fortunate to find this product at the start of emerald ash borer signs. We saved our trees, neighbors all lost theirs. It is costly treating 14 large trees, but cutting them down would cost more and destroy the beauty. I hope in the long term we made the right choice.

Great product. Bought it to help with aphids and scale on our trees in California. Loved this product. Unfortunately can't purchase it in California anymore (went down a wormhole to figure this out). Please come out with a California friendly replacement product!

This product works fine if you can get the container open. The lid is not at all designed for an elderly person with arthritic hands. I finally had to resort to using a knife to cut off the safety tabs. I will probably not buy this product again because of this.
