Biogents Mosquitaire Outdoor Mosquito Trap with Attractant, Effective Against Asian Tiger Mosquitoes and Dengue

I love a systems that clearly takes out mosquitoes and proves it. I measure the success by the mosquitos being captured in the bag and not on me. My bag is not as full as the one in video but as long as I not getting bit, I am satisfied

I've been using the Mosquitaire for a few weeks now (with a CO2 tank) and it has been great. I check the bag every few days just to see more of those suckers trapped in there!

Was surprised how much mosquitos were caught.

We have been on the losing side of the battle with mosquitoes forever. We tried devices designed to attract mosquitoes in the past, but none were able to attract the Asian Tiger mosquito, prevalent in Central Texas and the one that bites! We were also convinced by a company that sprays that they were non-toxic and effective, neither of which turns out to be true. We are deeply concerned that the sprays are killing butterflies and bees and not really succeeding in killing many mosquitoes. After two weeks of using this machine, we had a bag full of 1000's of mosquitoes, and not one butterfly, bee or anything else. We purchased two additional machines for our 1/2 acre lawn and feel confident that if we start early next season we will make a huge dent in the mosquito population, and not feel guilty about our beneficial insects.

For the first time in years, we've been able to sit outside and enjoy our yard. The trap bags are full of Asian Tiger mosquitos with very little by-catch (gnats seems to enjoy the scent as well). As advertised, it does not catch other mosquito species, so we'll need a CO2 trap as well to catch the rest of the biters. We've organized purchasing for the entire neighborhood through one purchase and its discount code. The more people that buy, the more you catch.

After using a Mosquito Magnet for over a decade, the company stopped producing the attractant for asian tiger mosquitoes making it useless here in Miami. Along comes Biogent. The BG-Sweetscent attractant failed to come when I ordered so I decided to plug it in without until it arrived. Would you believe it caught dozens of mosquitoes without it? Once the attractant was added, it was catching tons of mosquitoes just like in the old days of the Mosquito Magnet. Maybe better and without the hassle of refilling a propane tank every three weeks. This is WITHOUT the added CO2 hose and tank, BTW.

WOW! This device really works and it works really well. I live in Miami Day Count in a city Called Homestead, its very close to the Florida Everglade's. Which means we live close to an area where a lot of mosquitoes breed. The first day I installed my units(2) of them, I was amazed at the number of trapped mosquitoes caught just overnight. After about a week the capture nets were almost full.I wish it was a way to attached my videos of captured mosquito's. Can I become a distributor? Thank you, HMac

I have an allergic reaction to mosquitoes and histamine in general. The Biogent products work well but do need active monitoring and maintenance. We lived in a suburb ofDallas, TX and the mosquitoes kept us from enjoying our beautiful yard. I deployed one CO2 trap and 3 of the water traps. They worked well and helped some but the CO2 consumption was counterproductive and expensive. I would pay for a 20lb tank to catch 100-200 mosquitoes. I liked the water traps better. The traps lasted about 2 years before the UV rays destroyed them.

Doesn't work

We had high hopes for this, but it didn't attract anything here in the Austin area.
