i bought this in an attempt to get rid of an unexplained odor in the house. its only been a few days. because of that and that i dont know what the odor even is and thus if this product should have taken care of it, I can't really comment yet on the odor helping part of it. it seems the smell has shifted and this is the first time it has shifted in months, so perhaps it's working. what i am impressed with is the stain fighting! again, I didn't even buy this with the intention of using it as a stain remover. but i thought I'd try it on carpet stains too, and i think it may have gotten out the many, many stains we had. and super fast too, like within 5 minutes. ive never used an enzyme before and I think this was maybe the missing piece all along.

Really liked the smell. It was a barely there smell that was fresh and not perfumey smelling. Removed several stains that were recent from surprises my Chihuahua decided to leave me. I went back looking for the stains and thankfully I couldn't find them.

Does not remove pet stains as well as I had hoped. Required multiple applications. Difficult to prevent perimeter ring. One bottle was leaking when delivered.

I purchased Biokleen Bac-Out based on a recommendation during a google search, alas, it did not solve my problem. First off, both bottles arrived leaking cleaner, so I would say there is a design flaw needing to be solved by the company. The enzymatic cleaner did not remove the human urine smell from the upholstered furniture with which I treated it. I treated the item thrice by thoroughly saturating the item and then allowing it to dry completely between each application. I think Oxyclean will actually solve the problem, so I regret not trying that first. It did work on the carpet to remove fecal matter, so I suppose it is not a total loss of money.
