Bios Weather 313bc Digital Indoor/outdoor Thermometer

Using the wired temperature probe to monitor a chest freezer. Wish it had a temperature alarm rather than an alarm clock function

This is an awesome indoor outdoor thermometer. Very compact and can be put on a stand or hung on the wall. It is very accurate. A bonus is it also has an alarm! Very happy with this purchase and considering buying a few more for gifts.

Nice replacement for our 20 year old inside outside thermometer.

This works perfectly, just the right size, large display screen, and easy to set, would recommend.

Great unit easy set up

Nice digital thermometer for the price works great for indoor temperatures but when it`s -20 C outside it will not show the real temperature it just say Low.

Purchased over a year ago. Works great. Very inexpensive. Easy to set up, clear instructions sheet, and has large easy to read display. For my location, difficult to run & hide sensor wire to shaded outside spot to measure outside temperature. (Walmart sells a wireless unit). Unit has two AG10 installed batteries that lasted about a year. (can't find replacement AG10s). Walmart sells equivalent size but higher quality silver oxide "Energizer 389" battery which will last years longer than the AG10.

The product works well but when the battery died, it was very difficult finding a replacement battery. Walmart didn't carry it nor did many other major stores. Ended up having to order batteries online. Next time I will buy a digital thermometer with standard sized batteries.

Previous generation of BIOS wired indoor outdoor thermometers used one AAA battery, which are easy to replace and last a long time. This item uses two AG10 button cells, which give far less bang for the buck. Current listing does not specify which type of battery is used.
