An outstanding game based underwater in a 1950's atmosphere.. Genetic splicing intended to better mankind and improve our weaknesses gone wrong. You battle genetic mutations of what once were people called "splicers" all in a desperate attempt to escape the city called rapture.

"A man chooses, a slave follows." That's what Rapture's creator says. I chose to get this awesome game! BioShock pits you up against Rapture's biggest and baddest in a Captivating environment that almost makes you believe that this city truly exists underwater. This game is so eerily creepy at points that you jump so hard you pause the game, and you are moving slowly as to not to jump. Now, I am not a very big Horror genre game player, but this game keeps grabbing me and pulling me in. If you like First-Person Shooters and suspenseful moments, this is the game for you!

This is an awesome game... def. will suck you in. It's not an extremely hard game but has enough twists and turns to make it exciting and fun and there are spots and certain things that make it hard enough to be fun enough! Def. would recommend!!!

I have waited for a game like Bioshock for some time now, and if you are into RPGs & FPS as much as I am then this game is a must have..

Although the gameplay isn't terribly difficult (infinite lives, no penalty for dying), the game is worth playing simply to experience the setting and storytelling. All in all, wonderfully done. A note to parents, though: this game is definitely not for younger children. It contains numerous violent themes, several implied adult situations, and significant amounts of blood.

This game is listed as a shooter game and it is but its way more to this game than just shooting. It took me a while to get into the gameplay but once I did it was great. You get powers and you can buy health, weapons and upgrades at vending machines. You can hack machines and robots its a really interesting game like no other I see why it won game of the year. Their is also no restarting; if you die you come back in a vita chamber and everything is still the same the enemies you damaged will still have that same damage which comes in handy when trying to take down a big daddy. If you need money kill a big daddy they always carry lots of cash.

This game is great! The graphics to the depth of the bioshock world are top notch . The AI is excellent and very creepy. The story is very disturbing "I love it". A must have, and I would definitly recomend it to anyone who likes any kind of video games....period!

Great game looking forward to Bioshock 2! Prob the one of the best game I've played in years.
