i went to open the box as soon as i got it and accidently hit the SOS button, and it scared me trying to find where to turn it off which in turn woke up my sister, but i managed to.find the button. the SOS button is near the tuner numbers. The radio works well, and i am really surprised at the pull of the am.band. the fm is finiky as you need to be slow with the tuning. when charging the device with a usb c cable, the radio fades out on the stations. The rubber protective piece on the ports does not go back very well.but at least it's attached. The device has 5000 mah for the battery capacity listed on the bottom, but it is advertised as 30000. Overall, this is a good device with many features and would be great for camping or severe weather such as a hurricane. it has a compass, can be used as a bluetooth speaker, has a solar panel to charge , and the crank.or the ability to plug.it in and charge the device. you can not hook up a usb c charger cord to charge your phone unless you have an adapter, as the port is only usb a. to charge the device, however, uses a usb c cord, and it comes with a usb c to usb a 6 ft cord. I do feel that this is a good buy.

This is the handiest item to own in every household. It’s multifunction makes it a must-have for emergencies. This emergency light/radio/SOS/charger make it versatile and portable. The fact that it recharges using solar power, plug in or hand cranking are perfect no matter the emergency. You will always have power. I have it in my emergency kit, ready-to-use. Be careful unpacking this portable emergency light from it’s box. It comes fully charged and I accidentally pressed the SOS button when pulling it out of the box. Trust me when I say SOS is SUPER loud and the light flashes SOS until you repress the button. It’s the triangle button to the top left (marked SOS) on the radio side of the flashlight. I didn’t know what button I needed to push to turn it off because I just opened the box. It was funny after the fact. My neighbors were alerted..it’s that loud.

an essential tool with today's frequent storms. It was easy to use. understand I didn't read anything but the SOS button is right on the front of the main panel. I accidentally bumped it three times within 5 minutes. maybe this is ideal for some people, but I need this important button in an obscure location

I really wanted to like this, but I’m not impressed. I got it mainly for the weather radio, and the tuning just isn’t great. It uses an old-school dial instead of a digital tuner, so it’s hard to land on a station clearly. There’s a lot of fuzz and it doesn’t come in very clean. At work we have a digital one that locks onto stations perfectly, and this just doesn’t compare. It has a lot of features on paper, but if the radio part isn’t clear, that’s kind of the whole point.

radio reception was bad, there was no weather reception at all and could not read the instructions. They were too small and not clear.
