I am a potter. I purchased this product for purposes of decorating pottery. It is great for what I do.
Used this cooper netting to keep pigeons out of eave. That is conjunction with spider 360 with weighted bottom, pigeons do not land on roof anymore
This copper mesh is so much better to use than steel wool for plugging up holes for rodent control.
We needed product for a 1934 De-Soto Airflow classic car's air cleaner assembly. They used brass mesh back in the day for air cleaners!!!! This vehicle is a complete restoration and are hooking up all wiring then we will do the initial startup!!!!! Thank you Bird b gone for the great products you carry!!!
We needed something to help with our fire mitigation on our metal roof - we found out that embers can get under curved roof sections and start the house on fire so we are using this to block the embers. Easy to shape and apply - and hopefully it will keep out the birds and hornets, too! THANK YOU!
Mesh was quite expensive for what it is but it works perfectly. We installed this around the perimeter of vinyl shutters on my mom's stone two-story home. The shutters are mounted on raised cleats so the shutters are all at the same uniform distance from the stone facade. Birds constantly and relentlessly build nests in back of the shutters and make a huge mess on the front porch. The mesh has been the only solution that has ever worked! The mesh is barely noticeable either too. No more cleaning the front porch week after week!
Love birds, don't get me wrong. However, they wreck havoc with fabric awnings, even when retracked. They nuzzle inside them to keep warm and make a mess, even can tear the fabric which is expensive to replace. After chatting with personnel at BirdBGone, I purchased the copper mesh and wrapped the fabric. Air can get in but not the birds, just the trick! Thanks!!
I am using this product to deter slugs. It sees to be working as all of the plants that were getting eaten are growing now.
Overall this is a fairly good product. It is somewhat delicate to apply and fix, depending on the site you are trying to secure. I would have preferred this to be more bulky, somewhat like wire wool.
This mesh has worked well for me but considering the cost, I did some supplementing for my space. Since the space the birds were accessing was rather big (and this stuff is kind of expensive) I wrapped steel wool with the copper mesh. It has been about six months since filling the holes and so far no birds in the access points on the roof.
