Worked well to keep ducks off of my patio and hot tub cover.
Good to keep deer out of the garden too! Tied it to a slim pedestal, works like a charm.
It actually worked! I have been trying everything to stop the pigeons from landing on my pools water feature. This has done the trick. It took a couple weeks to get the full results, but this has literally scared all of the birds that used to drink from the water feature away. In fact my entire yard used to get covered in bird droppings and now I have nearly zero droppings anywhere. It's not the prettiest thing to look at mounted on top of the waterfall but I'll take it over swimming in bird poop. I did replace the rechargeable batteries with higher end ones so it would last longer in the evenings and I do wish it had an option to plug it in with a light sensor to turn it off and at night. But all in all I am happy with the results.
I purchased 2 of them for my vegetable garden and my blueberry bush to chase away the birds. They are quiet and work just fine by rotating all day. Sometimes I forgot to turn them off at night, they stopped by next morning, had to wait until charging again. Charging time does not take too long . Under the sunlight, they start rotating less than an hour. I purchased a roll of reflective bird scare tape to attach longer tape at the end of each arms. So, it covers larger area.
We have a beach front pool entrance where birds can walk into the shallow water. Unfortunately they poop all around the entrance and make the area unsanitary. The Bird-B-Gone does the trick.
Had it for a month and works great!
Works like it said it would.
The solar bird repeller is keeping the geese off of our dock thus far which is fabulous as I have tried everything. Hope the solar power continues to operate when our weather turns into northwest grey:hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed::skin-tone-2:
I have had mine working for almost a year. It has been in the pool a few times and thru some Arizona monsoons. I bought a 6 pak of rechargeable AA's with a charger and rotate them every month or so. You will see it slow down and quit early, just charge and swap out the batteries and you're good for another month.
I followed the instructions to the letter and let this charge up for over a full day in the sun, but after a couple of days it stopped working at night. Runs while the sun is out only, not sure if cheap batteries are the issue, or the recharging. I only need ot during the day so it's ok as is.
