Very effective tool to keep birds off stationary boats. I initially had cautious optimism, but was very pleased to the result.
My repeller 360 has been sitting (on the sand base) on a dock on Long Island Sound for the last 3 summers, May through September, successfully keeping gulls away. I needed to replace the plastic repellers as one finally cracked from the effects of the sun and salt...an inexpensive and easy repair.
We have been unsuccessful detering Osprey from roosting on our bimini and boat cover until we purchased the Bird-B-Gone Repeller 360. Since mounting on our bimini we have had absolutely no birds on our boat covers . We would enthuiasticly recommend this to friends experiencing the same dirty nuisance.
The Repeller 360 has been so nice to have while the boat is in it's slip. Every time we would go to the boat, we would have to scrub all of the bird poop off the boat. With the Repeller, we have been able to get on the boat right away with no scrubbing!
I live on a lake in South Florida. We have a dock and have been dealing with duck poop for years. We have tried several things and nothing worked. It was really getting bad. Nightly eight to ten ducks would line up in a row facing the water. Every morning it was a mess. I first bought one Repeller 360 with the base. Sure enough the area it covered stayed clean but it wasn't sufficient to cover the main section of the dock so the ducks were still congregating and messing the section it couldn't reach. I bought a second one and now the ducks do not hang out on my dock. The ducks are still around as I see them in my yard but they are no longer using my dock for their nightly hangout. I'm so happy and wished we had gotten this years ago. Thanks
Excellent product. Usually need to scrub the dock daily due to the number of birds that like to camp out. I've left it for over a week and only areal deposits. Thank you!
I had 2 spinners. One was lost in a storm. The other had worn out so to say and stoped spinning. Needless to say, the the seagulls started to have a hey day on my boat. 2 working spinners solved the problem!
Had a recurring problem (nightmare?) where poop would flow down from the roof of my flybridge onto cushions and my pilot station. Placed Bird-B-Gone and the sand weight up there and to quote the raven, "Nevermore".
Couple weeks in but working great!.highly recommend fully lubricating before placing outside. Once lubricated has been doing great job. Wish C clamp was larger. Highly recommend great product for the price
Im going to get rite to the point! No it dosent really keep the birds away If there is a strong breeze yes it keeps them away! We live on the coast of SC and we get a steady breeze coming off the ocean and its not always strong enough to spin the blades you need a steady wind speed of at least 5mph to turn the Repeller Your best bet if your trying to keep birds off is fishing line stung out
