For years, I have fought birds from building a nest in my retractable awning. This year, I actually had to clean up nests four times a day. This product has put a stop to them eating my awning fabric, making a mesh out of nesting on my patio. I highly recommend this!

Whereas the product itself seems to be working as advertised for birds, the quantitative linear coverage for the product of 8 pieces covering 17 feet is deceptive and incorrect. In actuality, the 8 -piece package only covers 11.5 feet (8 pieces x 17.3 inches per piece = 138.4 inches or 11.53 feet). It is the 12-piece package which covers the 17 feet. Going with the 8-piece covering 17 feet in the product description text, my order of 12 of the 8-piece boxes has left me over 60 feet short of what was needed, making it necessary to make an additional order (but not from this vendor!) resulting in delay and extra expense with this project. Thus the reason that this overall review merits only a mid-grade satisfaction level.

too small for the job that i needed. This is for very small space, and is also to short.

I bought these because I had robins trying to nest under the eaves of my new porch. I installed them all across the beam and the robins were not deterred at all in fact just built on top of them.
