Birds Choice AAB211 Rocky Mountain Ground Resin Bird Bath, Beige

I was looking for a bird bath that would sit on the ground, that was deep enough for a variety of birds, was heavy enough to not blow over, that was not a bowl, and not a color - and I found it in the Rocky Mountain Bird Bath! Visitors also include chipmunks, tree and ground squirrels. We have been in severe drought for months now so this watering hole has been a busy place and fun to watch!

Easy to keep clean. Does not get mildew or algae like concrete models. Placed in a safe area in the yard, under a tree, where it receives filtered sunlight. The birds enjoy its shallower depth, the most important aspect of any truly usable birdbath.

This is perfect for what I need it for. I put it on the ground under the corner of my gable on the roof. It is heavy. It certainly will not blow away in a strong wind. It feels and looks like rock. Sandstone maybe. But it is not rock. Now my birds have a bird bath and watering hole. And the ground under my gabled eaves are not rutted and ruined by the downpour during and after rain.

It became evident that raccoons (and probably other critters) were attempting to get to water in my bird bath that is taller

I wanted a low to the ground bird bath for my nyc rooftop terrace, and this was perfect. It looks nice and is sturdy. Of course the local birds love it!

Well built. Feels substantial not flimsy. Took about a week for birds & squirrels to trust it but now they’re right at home. Easy to clean. Very happy with the purchase.

The birdbath style is an excellent idea for areas where you want something lower; however, I wish that there was another color option that better matched the soil/landscaping in Arizona.

I have been looking for this for a solid year! I live in Southern Colorado the sun is like a microwave. I needed some thing that would go under a tree and not blow over. This fits the bill. Sturdy, great with the U V rays.
