This is an easy stovetop meal to make. It only requires some water. My boyfriend can’t really cook and he makes this on days when I can’t cook. It has a decent amount of meat to it too. It fills both of us up and it can make over two bowls (depending on the bowl size). We both find it easier to eat this with a spoon rather than a fork as the noodles are very small, like they are shredded.
I had major knee surgery recently and the thought of cooking dinner was something I dreaded.. This meal made making dinner for my kid's so very easy and it's so very tasty!! Yum!! Happy kids= Happy mom. I highly recommend for anyone, anytime. Major food groups ✓✓
Super quick and easy to make in a pan. Takes not much time at all. Just heat and eat. Very very good. My teenage sons, husband, and I all liked. Tastes like a restaurant or Panda Express if nothing else. Very flavorful and filling. Definitely recommend if you like lo mein and Asian type food.
I don't prepare these bags how they intend. I fill one of my larger soup bowls (will condense) and add: Seasonings at-will, Better Than Bouillon (beef in this case) and water. Then microwave several minutes stirring 1/2 way through. Unlike the Garlic Chicken however, take note there are TWO sauce packets (frozen liquid, bit on the condensed side). If prepared individual serving at a time, take these out when first opening the package and transfer the sauce to a small container with a matching lid, then after using about 1 Tbs-to-1 helping, store in refrigerate for next time. This bag will last one average adult several meals. It's a smart buy since it definitely won't go bad quickly. As long as it's favored anyway. On that note: this is not at all spicy. I would describe it as savory yet the vegetable combo balances out so as to not be a heavy meal. They've got this buyer on repeat 🔂
I really liked the taste of the sauce, noodles, and veggies. It was only the beef that was sorta flat and not savory. If it had more noodles that would be awesome. Overall, easy to cook and made quick dinner. I will buy again just for the sauce and noodkes, as it was like restaurant taste to me. But the beef strips were not good, though plentiful. I might add my own meat next time.
It's not exactly like the lo mein you get at a Chinese restaurant but it's pretty good. Lots of pasta, steak strips. veggies etc. The only downside is that I feel like there isn't enough sauce for the whole bag. I wish they included more sauce for it. Easy to make. You get a lot.
wanted to give 5 stars but only ONE gravy packet in this FAMILY size bag!! disappointed for i don't keep spare gravy in cupboard...oh well
it had what i call a weird taste and smell to it. i have smelled that smell at a chinese buffet. not sure what the smell and taste was. i wont be ordering this product again.
I don't know, I really like this brand, and I like this LoMein but the flavor packets didn't seem to have a noticiable taste like it used to have. I always have to ad flavor to the lo mein. I mean when I payy over $20 for two bags of this I expect flavor. I'll give it 4 stars maybe should be more like 3
Looked forward to this meal but was disappointed. I think lo mein should be savory. Found this to be very sweet, was not looking for mongolian beef. Made 2 large skillets, added 12 oz bag of steamed broccoli to them both. Doctored it up with soy sauce, pepper, garlic and onion. Will not purchase again.
