I purchased this hopeful that my kids would like it and I am glad I did! After preparing this for my kids for lunch one day I was then ask the next day to make the same lunch again! I then purchased more to have on hand for a quick one pan easy lunch!
This stuff is so good. An excellent value for the price. Everybody in the family raved about it and it was ridiculously easy to prepare. Excellent for nights when you are in a time crunch but want to eat and feed your family something wholesome and balanced.
If you have more than four people in your family, I suggest to get two bags. The taste great. My kids really love it. Easy to make. And quick to prepare. OK price.
It didn't taste like I thought it would. I used to buy a long time ago, but this taste that I got back and I did not receive this time so I won't be wearing that anymore.
disappointing. the flavor is fine, but there is an uneven ratio of sliced carrots and broccoli stalk slices. to be clear, there is no broccolli in except the stalks were sliced and put in this. And allot of the time you get pieces of broccolli stalk that are chewey and hard and cannot be swallowed.
This used to be a staple in our busy household when the kids were growing up. We went back to buying it for an easy meal during the week for just the 2 of us now and the last 4 times we have bought it (yes, I thought it was just a fluke the first 3 times) has been beyond disappointing. •The main issue being, you don't actually get broccoli in this, it's all stems with a few broken pieces of heads that accidently got into the package. I swear this used to be loaded with it. The package is misleading and honestly borderline false advertisement at this point. I do not recommend this product.
I bought the family size thinking it would be an easy dinner for a busy night, and it definitely was easy. Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there for us. The pasta, vegetables, and chicken cooked up fine, but the garlic flavor was surprisingly mild. I kept tasting it and thinking it needed something—more garlic, more seasoning, more anything. 😂 The convenience factor is great, and the portion size easily fed multiple people, but even after adding extra garlic powder, parmesan cheese, and some seasoning from my own pantry, it still felt a little underwhelming. Nobody hated it, but nobody was excited about it either. We ate dinner, cleaned up, and promptly forgot about it. Bonus: For a meal called Garlic Chicken, the garlic seemed to have taken the night off. 🤣🧄🍗💔
I never got to eat this because the package was opened and I was afraid to eat it. When I brought it left it in the Walmart bag and put it in the freezer. I got it out to fix for supper this is what I found. So I would like my money back, please and thank you.
Incredibly disappointed in what has become the lack of quality. It was one a favorite family go-to, we kept a family-sized bag in the freezer. Now the bag weight is deceptive. Rather than contain an appropriately marked content, the bag now consists of broccoli stalks/stems that are hard and unpleasant. Almost every bite taken consisted of unpalatable hard stalk that wound up on the side of every person's plate that was served a portion. Sadly, that has been the case with the last several bags our family has purchased. This last bag purchased will be our last. The youngest at the table made the most terrible hacking and choking sound. If the child is unable to chew the hard stalks, it is not only a waste of money, but also a safety hazard. Disappointed in loss of quality. Definitely not worth the price. I have included pics from a family gathering. If the remainders on the bowls are not truly consumable they are a waste. The only asset is to the packaging company that receives the dead weight to boast about product weight and amount. Sadly, it is what should have been discarded.
Disappointing, this stuff had no garlic taste at all, it was like eating plain vegetables with chicken and pasta. Also, the broccoli consisted of mostly inedible stems. All the Birdseye products I've tried, I had to remove the stems and replace them with the florets that I've had to purchase extra. This packaging is very misleading, its says "in a garlic sauce" where's the sauce? Just a horrible product. Do Not Buy. I paid nearly $9.00 for this dinner in a bag that ended in the garbage disposable.
