BISSELL® CleanView® Max Tangle-Free Rewind Upright Vacuum 4073L

This vacuum is perfect for my household. I have two cats that shed and hair builds up quickly on my rugs. Also, there is a lot of dust in my area that collects on my rugs and floors. This vacuum gets it all up with superior suction and lightweight maneuverability. The pet hair does not clog the brushes. The self winding cord is a nice feature, noise is low, and the canister is easy to remove and clean. Highly recommend!

With a dog and 3 new woolen area rugs, my Bissell is getting quite the workout and it shows by the amount of dog fur and rug "fur" that it collects. What I like equally, is how easy it is to clean after every use. Empty the canister, rinse out the canister and both filters, let dry overnight and ready to go. The "headlights" and retractable cord are bonuses.

I have purchased Bissell vacuums for many years and each time they seem to improve. The most recent is the ClearView Max Tangle-Free. It has exceeded my expectations. Maneuvering is easy, deep-cleaning the carpets and rugs was unbelievable, and cleaning out the canister was a snap. Oh yeah, and the “head lights” really help! I recommend this vacuum to anyone with a dog or lots of high traffic areas. So worth it.

I really love the many attachments of this vacuum. Suction is great and easy to clean. The retractable cord is a feature that makes any vacuum attractive as a bonus.

I can not use it myself, because I am 80 years old and not very strong. to heavy for me to manage myself. I have a lady that care for me weekly and sh has no problem because she is about 30 years younger than I has no problem handling.it As for performance it is wonderful and I love the clear view it allows me to see all the dirt and fur it picks up. I had 2 cats but I only have one now. I was amazed at all the fur and dirt it picked up. I liked being able to see what a great job it did. I would buy it again if I were stronger. But I love the machine and works wonders. you need to let people know how heavy it is to move. I am going to try raising it higher, to see if that makes it easier for me to handle

The jury's still out a little bit on this vacuum I'm a long time user of Electrolux in fact we've had the vacuum for 24 years and it finally tore up we can't get parts for it so I went ahead and went with the Bissell because we have two cats and we have carpet and hardwood it seemed to do pretty good but you do have to adjust the head on it up and down for the pile of carpet I'm still getting used to that and I feel that the head unit button where you push on it to make the head go down and up seems a little flimsy but I might be just me really honestly you should come back to me six months from now send this e-mail again and I could tell you more intelligently what I think of the vacuum thank you all they

Tangle-Free vacuum definitely keeps the hair from tangling on the roller brush. Plastic canister insert was dropped while cleaning it and broke one fin and cracked another, other wise would of given five stars.

I was disappointed in the structure, it's very unstable and you have to use both hands and all your might to lock it upright in place. I love Bissell but this one's a miss for me.

I get a new Bissell every couple of years or so. They have been a reliable, quality product for the price. This new one however is not anywhere near the same quality product I am accustomed to purchasing. It is made with cheaper materials, poor craftsmanship, feels very flimsy, doesn't operate at the same level at all. Doesn't have the same amount of suction. Does a very poor job on hard surfaces. I'm so glad I saved my former Bissell. I hate that I threw away the box or I would have returned it. I just assumed it would perform like the previous versions but it did not. The cord did rewind with out any difficulties. I do like the light. The swivel was very smooth too. I'll not buy another.

I have used the vacuum twice and have struggled both times. The pet brush keeps trying to eat the rug, dog bed, or sofa cover almost to the point of burning the fabric. The cord Rewind function is not user friendly. I have to constantly pull the cord out as i go because its never enough. Using the dog fur brush on stairs is awkward because I have to balance the whole vacuum unit on the steps as I vacuum. The dog brush attachment stops spinning if I press too much on the carpet. The surface know is in an odd location. I have to bend over every time I switch surfaces between room. The pattern on the carpet left from the vacuum looks like comb makes and my vacuum does not fill up with pet hair often, despite it being shedding season. My last vacuum, not a Bissell, required me to empty twice, each time I used it. It makes me wonder if this vacuum is picking up anything. I also cannot use the vacuum on the bathroom rugs, at any setting, because it tries to eat it. I I could return it, I would. I am going to have to eat the cost and just pick up a new vacuum. Probably the vacuum that i had before that was not a Bissell.
