There is nothing to assemble, just simply unfold and it folds back up if you want to put it away. The cushion is very, very soft.

It's easy to fold by pressing the little buttons in the back of the chair on both sides. The padding is so bouncy and the fur is super soft. I'm 5'1 so it fits me perfectly, I use it while reading a book or watching a movie. However, my dad is much taller than me so the chair doesn't tall enough to support his head.

The chair itself is super comfortable too - it's really big, so an adult could easily use it as well. The fact that it folds is very convenient. I usually struggle with any "folding" type furniture, but this one was pretty smooth. I think it would be a great video game chair with the family, then you could fold it up when not in use.
