No back flow preventer. Do really need one?
This hydrant does not have a back flow preventers. I have used this type for over 40 years until recently when Lowes stoped carrying them here locally. I have hydrants without the preventer out there for over 30 years without trouble. I am having trouble with the back flow preventer within 10 or 20 years so I am going back to this style even if I must order online and save money.
