Black & Decker BDCI20B 20V Lithium-Ion Brushed 1/4 in. Cordless Impact Driver (Tool Only)

I have used this tool for rebuilding a barn and fence among other things on my property. For 2 years I ran this thing hard. The only times I found it bogged down was with trying to back out a 4 inch, self drilling wood screw. (It was nearly impossible for me to do by hand) I finally burned the motor out just shy of 2 years, but B & D stands behind their warrantee. It's only right for me to share my experience.

Wife bought me this impact over 3 years ago and it has never failed a task that I put it to until completion the Light is a great feature and very useful always a great go to!

I have used and abused this thing every day for over 18 months for eveything from driving timber bolts and screws, to changing flats tires. After the intense abuse, it has finally burnt out, and im on my way to get another.

Great impact driver. Had an extra battery so all my tools have a battery in them and those batteries keep a charge a long time.

I got this as a gift and have used it allot. I even used this impact to put a new roof on my house.

Great for light duty use but won't loosen auto wheel nuts

This power tool gets hot fast. It does the job fine.

This is the 4th Black and Decker drill/driver I have bought with the past 18 months. The impact driver mounts wear out or the gears strip. The only reason I continue to buy these is the batteries. Since a new battery is included with every purchase I have acquired many of them. These drills have been for hobby/home use.

After one day of driving in some1/4 inch Timberlock screws into pressure treated wood, the unit overheated and started smoking profusely. It still runs, but I do not expect much more service out of it, other than lightweight driving.
