The item is very well constructed, I think as I have not yet installed it. I received the basic bar in approx. 4 days after ordering. The second box took a week after notifying Real truck. After sorting out all the parts I found out the Button head hardware for the assembly of the actual bar was missing, should have been tin the first box. At this point I just went to my hardware supplier, (Bolt Depot) and ordered what I needed. The hardware will be here today. As none of this was Real truck's Fault, I understand. But this is the second order from them that I have issues with. The previous order was for a tonnue cover that was received with a manufacturer problem. It would be nice if they could have a little better control over THEIR suppliers.
Looks great on my 2019 Ranger. I was worried it was going to look to big for a small truck but I think it looks perfect. Had some trouble with missing pieces from black horse but they finally got me everything I needed. I had to modify how it mounted to the bed rails because the hardware provided did not fit my Ranger. Trip to the hardware store and some ingenuity later and it works great. I also had to modify the bracket provided for off-road lights. I put a 42" light bar on and the generic bracket stuck out 3-4" on each side. A grinder and some paint fixes the problem. Still would recommend 100%.
Looks good. Doesnt sit well if have a bed liner. I had to cut the liner to get behind it to bolt the bars on. The liner also doesnt allow the bars to sit flush with the bed. It is solid and made of good quality. I placed 4 kc hilighters on it. Looks great.
Great addition to my truck!
The installation was basically easy but took awhile ! I read that a 50 inch LED bar would fit on top , but No it doesn't ; too long ! A 40 inch will fit though! I had to have a shop build a stainless bar to attach the light to it then install the package to the roll bar! Looks good !!
so i bought this roll bar for my new truck which is a 19 ram tradesman "new generation" and when buying it said it fits my truck so i went ahead and order it and it delivered pretty quick so i went and started putting it together and after putting it together i put it on my bed to then realize it dont fit the brackets were 3" to wide but i loved how they looked so i quickly fabricated a new bracket and mounted it to the truck. Besides the bracket not fitting the delivery time the looks and the sturdiness is all great but i just wish it fit in the first place
The bars themselves are easy enough to build and install BUT... they do NOT work with tonneau covers UNLESS you modify brackets for tonneau cover. The "instructions" are COMPLETELY wortlhless. A 5 year old can draw better. Half the hardware in the box is not even listed on the "instructions". They might as well not put any "instructions" in the box. No words just pictures..and not good ones!
looks great on my 2012 f-150. but the powder coating application is terrible there is rust appearing after one winter season was expecting better quality
I purchased these for my ‘17 Dodge Ram. The product arrived quickly and I was happy at first. Went to put on and the instructions were half ass, nothing about wiring the lights that I had no idea were included. Parts were also missing. I contacted Realtruck and the customer service was great. The manufacturer provided no help though and stupid excuses. The truck looks great but I had to buy my missing parts to make it work.
needed and ordered mount for use with Tonneau cover never got it. had to do a custom fab job on the rollbar to get it mounted about three hours of fab work. Real truck seamed to be on the issue but think it was Black Horse that dropped the ball.
