The unit was easy to put together. The bolts that come with it are too short for my Tacoma, but I was able to use the existing tie ?own fixture bolts in their place. I love the way it looks and I have received many compliments about it. The only downfall is, I had to cable lock it to my truck because people keep trying to steal it.

So I have a Gator tonneau cover. Definitely not compatible with out some DIY to the bracket and drilling your own holes. I didn't let that stop me. I wanted both items and I had to make it work. If there's a warranty I'm sure I voided it only on the roll bar. Once I get the light bars I'll tackle the wiring.

I bought this rack in 4/2020 and I've already provided a strong review of it. I knew that the rack lacked a diamond patterned "screen" between the rack, and very expensive truck's rear window. I had a screen designed and welded on to the rack for $200.00, which allows me to load the Yamaha quad in the trucks bed without worrying about breaking the rear window. Before you buy this rack you might want to take the measurements and have a protective screen made too. WANEIAC

I bought this for the looks and the ability to add more storage due to my rack and roll tonneau cover that takes up about 12” of bed space. I am very impressed with the solidness of this rack. It is stout for sure. I made some brackets for it to sit on so that I was able to still use my tonneau cover as I like the security of the truck bed. The negatives of this sport bar are that the instructions SUCK. 1 of the bottom mount hex screw holes was screwed up and it messed up the threads which I had to re-thread. And the light bar mounting bad was bent. There is also nothing on how to wire up the 3rd brake light which would have been nice. With a little common sense you can get it done but would be nice to have some decent instructions. Over all I am very pleased with the durability and looks!! I would have rated this 5 stars across the board if not for the before mentioned issues.

I am very mechanically inclined but had nothing but problems with this rollbar set up(instructions are practically useless except for the checklist of parts). I thought I would save some time and build it without tightening the hardware and then place it in the truck only to have to disassemble it and reassemble it on the truck bed. Stripping out two of the bolt holes because it does not come welded like the picture! The inserts meant to screw the bolts into we're not strong enough to tighten down the assembled roll bar, pulling/tweaking it together tightly to fit within the dimensions of the bed rails. The double or triple plated bed rail linings did not give enough room to use the provided flat washers on the backside of the bolt. When the description says universal for many different trucks, it means it! I would have thought for $800 the quality would've been much better. It looks good on the truck but I think it's more of a fashion statement then a durable product and I would not bet my life and this product stopping the cab from crushing if it ever ended up on its roof as it is only held to the truck by six bolts in the thinnest part of the bed rail. My plan is to have it spot welded and perhaps add some extra hardware through the top of the bed rail for added support. If you're looking for a product that's better form than function, this one's for you. If your safety minded, this is not your product unless you're willing to do some tweaking to make it more secure

the rack looks great!!!but it doesnt fit my 2015 ram 2500 as they advertised..... was 3/4 shy of being snug to the bed on each side and when i tried to tighten the bolts it broke my bed and now if i wanted to install something onto it again... i cant
