I bought this torque wrench to make sure my new little trailer tires were tightened to specs, I tightened by hand with a ratchet at first, the next day I used the same ratchet wit a pipe as a lever, so I was wondering if I had over tightened them! Boy was I wrong! When I used the torque wrench they were still way below specs, so happy that I decided to get this wrench an even better that it was cheaper when ordered online from Walmart.com!
This product works well, adjustable in set increments, the micro click is tight and works as expected. You can't beat it for the price. All-steel construction; I'm not sure what else to say about it, it's a great buy!
I purchased this product for tire work. This Torque Wrench was very reliable and got the job done more than one time. I recommend this product for use in tightening bolts and studs to a certain torque poundage as well as loosening or tightening any bolts or socket usage screws and bolts.
Needed a good sized torque wrench for my travel trailer. This fit the bill and works great.
I use this when working on my big rig.
This tool is imported from China. It does the job sufficiently, I used it to install a B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch in my truck. I did not test the calibration or anything like that.
Decent wrench, good price.
Does exactly what it should, No less and no more. Well built product
I haven't had it long so I cannot tell you anything about the durability of the product but one thing I did find odd is that I was always told you are to leave torque wrenches on the lowest setting when not in use but this product came with it at the highest setting when I received it. But overall, like the title says, you can tell its fairly cheap by the way it feels but it does do what its supposed to. I have not compared its torque settings against a bigger brand yet.
As far as I can tell, it seems like it's working but I have no way to test it's accuracy. It's definitely not as solid as better quality torque wrenches, but you get what you pay for. I would NOT recommend this to a mechanic shop or anyone doing professional quality work, but it gets the job done for someone who just tinkers in their back yard
