Black Magic Chrome Wheel Cleaner 23oz - 120005W

After a long, hot summer it was time to get the vehicles ready for winter, which meant a full detail job, chrome wheels included. I have to say that the Black Magic Chrome Wheel Cleaner did an excellent job. The generous-sized 23 ounce spray bottle comes complete with a textured wipe rag and has easy to follow directions. The main active ingredient is Glycolic Acid (basically the same chemical as used in facial peels) and it got the job done quickly without any odor. Spray on dry wheels, let sit for several minutes, hose off then wipe clean to a beautiful shine. Simple and easy, would highly recommend.

With rain and cold weather trying out a wheel cleaner was a bit challenging. I had one wheel that had something on it that I had tried dozens of products on trying to remove it. Nothing I tried worked, even other so-called wheel cleaners. I know that most cleaning products work best around 70 degrees or better, but I was curious about the Black Magic Chrome Wheel Cleaner, so with it almost freezing outside I wanted to see if the Black Magic would show any signs that it might clean whatever was on my one wheel. I sprayed on the cleaner and waited a few seconds and then started rubbing. I couldn't believe it. As cold as it was and after everything I had tried to clean my wheel, the Black Magic was taking off whatever had been on my wheel for months because nothing else would take it off. If Black Magic will take off the hardest to clean substances off chrome wheels, I have no doubt it will do a great job for the average wheel cleaning job. I highly recommend this product and it will be the only wheel cleaner I buy from now on.

I tried the Black Magic Chrome Wheel Cleaner and was very happy with the results. It came out easily from the bottle. It foamed up great and washed off with ease. My wheels look cleaner and better thanks to Black Magic Chrome Wheel Cleaner. I highly recommend this product to anyone who takes pride in their vehicle looking good.

I have to say this first. I really can't rate the Black Magic Chrome Wheel Cleaner. I don't have chrome wheels. My wheels are cast aluminum. And the instructions specifically say" For Chrome Wheels only". I didn't realize it would state for chrome wheels only. So I used it on a plated chrome truck bumper. NOT what it was designed for. So I can't give it a poor rating because it didn't do a good job on my thin plated, think low cost, chrome truck bumper. So I gave it the benefit of doubt and gave it a good rating. I can't give a product a bad rating because I used it incorrectly.

This product worked very well on my wheels. I have not clean them since I bought them for years prior. I sprayed the chemical onto the rounds left it for a few minutes and then sprayed them down with water. After doing this my wheels look like they were shiny and new. They did not look brand new but they did with the new work. I would say that this product helpful but if you want the best results scrub it with the scrubber.

I'm old school, I think elbow grease polishing works... But I'm also just old now, so having a product that takes some of the 'work' out of it isn't all that bad! My Cadillac is older and was well used when I bought it, so it'll take a couple uses to actually get all the brake dust like it says, but it shined up the chrome like I've never seen on my car!

I've used things like this in the past and it really works well, but on the back of this bottle it says in all caps don't use if it's not chrome and then I start thinking aren't all wheel chrome and then I'm unsure and start questioning if I should use it. I guess the other that I've used before I've never read the directions and it's always worked. Now I'm not so sure if I want to use it. Shoot, wouldn't just using dawn soap work too and probably cheaper. I mean you have to get the hose out anyways. I'm sure all newer cars have chrome wheels anyways. Fingers crossed. O and it does come with a little squeegee rag thing.

Went out today and used the chrome cleaner on my wife's Toyota. I give you a terry cloth that you can get into the cracks and crevices of your rims and it cleaned up very well. All you have to do is it let it set or one to two minutes and then just wipe it off. Is the used overall good product. Would recommend to a family member or friends.

I've never used a wheel cleaner, until now. Easier than I thought. Just spray it on cool, dry wheels. Wait 2 minutes. Hose off. Wipe away remaining brake dust and grime. I had to use it twice on my wheels. So does that mean my wheels are nastier than most people's wheels? I don't know? The cloth worked well to make them shiny. Next time I will get the wheel brush first. There isn't a smell to the cleaner, unless you spray your hands, which I did. Bottom line. It does what it says. Not effortless. But it works.
