I got this productt to try it out and it works really well for my plants. It helps absorb water from the plants if water them too much. I think it works great. I love it!

Good product for the money. Very simple packaging. If you're going to plant cactus , you need some of this.

Great for plants that like rocky soil or substrate. Just make sure you wash it in a strainer first if you do not want dust. Would also recommend you use a mask when first using it because of the dust. But washing your substrate is helpful in removing dust. I learned that early on with rock substrate for fish aquariums. By the way, never use pea gravel for fish like goldfish and koi that like to root around in the substrate for food leftovers. It can get stuck in their mouth or impact their bowls.

Do not buy... It is my fault for not realizing the size of the product is very small compared to avg leca sold. Also the size of the bag is maybe 2 hands width, this is a small qty. Average store bag you'd buy is 4 times this size and should cost roughly the same for what this product cost. This was a complete rip off, I should have researched.

Smaller than I expected many were broken.
