This paint applies very smoothly and its durability is the next best thing to oil based. I have used it on doors and trim, to touch up my basement ceiling, and on the tabletop for my nightstand, but then I ran out. Very pleased to see a 2 for one deal! It arrived very carefully packaged as to not spill in the shipping box.

Had 3 front doors that needed painting. Bought this product due to reviews. And i wasnt disappointed at all. excellent coverage, took 2 coats and my old looking doors were rejuvenated.

We're doing some reno fixing up the old house and it means calling up all I know about efficiency so naturally, the many door and window trim issues around the house are among them. So when I see the brand and Door and Trim in nice big letters, I'm there for it. What I like about this is that it's not just holding up in the dry interior of the house but in the poorly ventilated bathroom and the bit of outside trim as well. The trick is thin even layers, letting each one dry and cure before placing another. For outdoor use, this means you have to hope the weather cooperates but indoors, it's pretty simple to regulate temp and humidity for ideal results. It applied well with sponge and horsehair brushes as well as typical rollers. And one little quart goes a longer way than I thought. Between two cans, we were able to completely refresh the trim and doors. If only all reno was this easy… but at least I know Rust-O-Leum is coming in clutch with the paint.

Our door was previously painted a similar color, but had become scratched and dinghy over the years. To prep I simply took the door off the hinges and power washed it, then laid it across two saw horses to get it horizontal. The paint went on smoothly and dried flat without marks. The color really pops and has renewed the look of the front of the house.

Wanted to paint a built in desk I made one evening. After not finding a blackish colored furniture paint in stock, I opted for this last can of door/trim paint I found on the shelf. I'm used to buying wall paint by the gallon. Having to pay over $20 for just one quart was kind of a shock! Well I must say I believe this is the best quality paint I've ever used. It went on so smoothly; coverage was excellent! I'm back here today to see if I can order a gallon of this.

A huge pro is how quickly it dries and lack of pungent odors. Only reason I'm not giving it a fifth star is because I haven't tested its durability for as long as I would like, but it looks great after 3 weeks!
