The prep work is the hardest part of this product and I still didn't do enough. Scrubbed floors with degreaser twice, etched twice and it still didn't prep the floors enough. We had a handful of spots that appeared ready for paint but our 60 year old garage floors should have been sanded down not just etched. The pairing part was the easiest, and quickest part. I will say buy more then you think you will need for a thicker covering. We have a two car garage and used one full and one half of a second 2.5 car garage kit. It probably won't last as long as a professionally done epoxy garage floor would but even if we get a couple years out of it, we will be satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rustoleum brand floor coating kit is best in market. This kit is meant for 2.5 car garage and served the same. Ofcourse this floor validating can be used not only for garage floor but also other areas like workshops, family rooms etc. gloss finish is good and shiny on the garage floor. Very happy with the finished floor how it turned. This 180oz kit covered all the garage floor which is like 400 sq ft. Kit is easy to use and was able to do diy and a complete floor turned out rock solid. And quite confident of not peeling off anything and hasn't seen any cracking.

I like the product, it looks nice and was fairly straightforward to use, but my main complaint is that it does not cover near the amount claimed on the packaging. For me it covered about half the amount of space claimed.

The coverage is drastically less than advertised

Extremely disappointed, the product was too thick for the paint rollers that was sent. The paint rollers dissolved and split down the middle, causing the paint rollers to stick to the product on the floor. Definitely would recommend not to use the rollers that comes in the kit. Although this product is sold as a 2 1/2 garage kit, it is NOT enough product to cover a two car garage. I really believe I received a bad kit.

We paid close to $1000 to get enough to cover the floors in our 30x50 garage and it has only been down about 2 weeks. Applied it when 65 degrees like instructed and there's 4 spots already chipping up. So disappointed and will never purchase again!
