the ease and value point of product. i had been quoted $4000 by individuals to EPOXY my bsmt area. what a deal!
Thus product works well, just follow instructions, just move quickly and it will look great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my garage floor. The product was easy to use and looks amazing. I also love the color and how it brightened up the garage and makes it look so clean and fresh. It not hard to use and it looks like a professional company did the work. I will definitely buy more to finishing another area in my garage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rocksolid garage floor coating is the best product for the job. The Rust-oleum company has been our 'go to' whenever a good quality paint job is required so when our concrete garage floor, which is only 3 years old, needed attention we wanted a durable surface that would take a beating from the hot tires on our car and golf cart but would resist peeling and also look attractive. Rust-oleum in the dark grey was our choice for the job. It is easy and quick to apply. The color was just right not too dark. A big plus for my husband is that you can stand to apply (no bending for back suffers) and the rollers are included. It is a full kit. So if your garage is looking the worse for wear within 24 hrs you can have a new glossy finish to your floor which will look smart and be easy to keep clean. Totally recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we started, the process seemed daunting, but the result was well worth it. After you empty your garage, expect it to be empty for a week. The whole process isn't complicated, just time-consuming. We have a 3-car garage and did end up needing two boxes to complete our garage. Our garage looks amazing, and we save so much money by doing it ourselves.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this product in our garage and it worked as expected. It was our first time doing anything like this and it felt like it took forever, but I could do a mother garage way faster no that I know what I'm doing. Overall, it was fairly easy, seems to be durable, and looks better than our old floor. We're happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really does make the garage look clean. It is a process to get to that point, though. Expect to have everything removed from your garage for close to a week. We had some cracks in the cement and leveling that needed to be done before we could apply. You will need to wash the floor. After every step the floor will need to have time to completely dry. None of this is difficult or overly strenuous, just time consuming. The finished product is well worth it.
This works well. If you have any edging in your garage save some on the side and don't mix it until you are ready. Start with the edging. Fair warning if you start with the edging but you mix a whole bag you will run out of time and end up having to buy additional to cover the whole garage. Be liberal with the chips, there are plenty, and it looks better with more chips. Make sure there is nothing left on your garage floor I pressure washed twice, used the soap, pressure washed again, and then vaccuumed the floor the next morning before I put the seal down. Seems to have worked well. Don't try to spread the seal to thin you will end up with non shine areas where the coat was not hick enough. Looks great when done and WAY better than before. I will say if I did it again the cost savings over hiring someone is probably not worth it I would just hire someone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks fantastic, however, it was our first time doing this ourselves so it was a tad difficult to get the hang of it. Another issue is that we already had a ton of stuff in our garage that we had to figure out what to do with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it would turn out better or maybe be easier to apply than it was. This was my first attempt at floor coating and it did not go so well. I'll start with the good first. The burst pouch are very neat as you just roll one end into the other allowing the two parts to mix. That was easy and not messy at all. The decorative chips/flakes are fun to toss down and add a nice touch. Dries fairy quickly and I would say floor was ready for foot traffic 8-10 hours later as stated on box. The weather was not on my side but this can be applied at temps between 40-90° F and I believe I was no lower than 50° throughout the process so no issue there. No VOC's added so smell is bearable for sure. Now the bad is that the kit comes most supplies to finish the job but there is a lot of prep work required beforehand. I wish I would had known this because I had to purchase additional items before I could begin. Like I have paint brushes and the kit includes roller pads. However, I still needed to have roller frame, extension pole, and a stiff bristled broom just to name a few. Also needed to patch up any cracks or chips in the concrete. Then came the need to apply degreaser (not included) to the floor. There was just a lot of steps, prep work, and wait time than I thought it would be. I don't think it's worth the effort or time. I'm no expert, just an average homeowner, but I would leave this to the professionals.
