The BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.2.XXXX which will soon receive an upgrade around March 2016. The operating system is smooth and fast. In my opinion BB OS10 is a better operating system than Android, Windows and Apple all together. If you look at each of those operatin systems, they have taken features from BB OS 10 after it was released in 2012 and has had fine tuning done to it since. The screen on the Passport Silver Edition is excellent at 453 pixels per inch which is more than Apple at 326 pixels per inch. The keyboard is phenominal in it's capabilities as a keyboard and mouse pad. Keys are softer pressing them than the original Passport and easily scroll through emails, web pages and screens with the simple sliding touch on the keyboard. Double tap the keyboard while typing out a message and easily move the cursor to where you need it by moving your finger across the keys. The Hub on any BB OS 10 operating system is an easy communication set up that other operating systems are envious of. Everything you have communication wise such as emails, text messages, instant messaging through BBM, Whatsapp, Facebook IM and etc. are all available in one location that can easily be looked at where ever you may be in the middle of on the Passport. The speakers are outstanding and are loud! The 13 megapixel camera on the back of the phone is really an excellent camera. The panoramic feature for the camera on BB OS 10 works better than Apple, Windows and Android. The micro USB port at the bottom of the phone does more than charge or transfer data when connected to a computer. It also can be used with a micro USB cord with a female USB connector so you can connect a USB memory stick/jump drive to read/write to and from the memory stick/jump drive. There's more that I could go on with, but it would turn out to be a novel. Trust me, set aside any biases due to Apple or Android and truly check out the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition and you will be surprised with it's capabilities.
