BLACK+DECKER 1,500-Watt-Max Desktop Ceramic Heater with Fan Setting, White

Wanted a small heater that was easy to keep away from curtains, bedding etc. so there was no chance of flammability. We don't need heat too often in Florida but this week it was chilly enough to bring this into the bathroom to stay toasty after a shower. I also have a new small dog and liked the feature that turns it off if tilted or knocked over. Easy to store away too!

This little heater does just what I thought it would do- no more, no less. It's just a small space heater. My only nit- pic is the handle that is built into the casing. It is not much of a handle and does not help too much when moving the heater from one spot to another. Not a deal breaker. A red light glows if the heater is simply plugged in- all the time. I wish that light would just come on when the heater is turned on. I am satisfied with this little, inexpensive heater.

I HAVE TWO OF THESE HEATERS. ONE IS TWO YEARS OLD AND I BOUGHT ANOTHER THIS WINTER. THEY KEEP MY TOILET WARM AND HEAT THE ENTIRE BATHROOM WHEN I SHOWER. I HAVE ONE IN THE SECOND BATHROOM AND MY KITTIES GO IN THERE TO TAKE A NAP. I LEAVE THE DOOR CRACKED SO THEY HAVE COMPLETE ACCESS IN AND OUT. I LIKE THE FACT THAT THE HEATERS GO OFF AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THEY ARE ACCIDENTLY TURNED OVER. THEY NEVER FAIL AND I RUN THEM DAY AND NIGHT.

I'm using it in a grow tent, as many others may assuredly be as well.. I've read all the reviews.. Was nervous, but it came early, and even though it's smaller than described, it's put together well.. I've gotten a few heaters, stuff rattles, this n that, but this one was ok.. Its quiet, it does the job it's supposed to do, but... It absolutely will short a breaker.. I had it plugged into a plug with one tiny fan, and each time I ran my microwave it popped.. Put it on a dedicated plug, no issues.. The reviews about the pin on the bottom not working (the safety pin), I've seen no evidence of that.. For the price, with what I've said, it's worth it..

Compact heater puts out some fine heat and settings are adequate. However, the little tip over sensor tab on the bottom doesn't work properly unless you add something to it. We added a small stick on rubber button that helped but we still had to have a cloth underneath to deactivate the switch off button. Kind of unhandy!

Item was defective. Only worked if you held the heater with your finger holding the switch on the bottom in. I am going to return it and buy something else.

the delivery company that you chose to deliver the item did not deliver it to my house they didn't even have a tracking record they delivered it somewhere else yesterday in the picture it's not my place I'm very disappointed because she used on track delivery service it's not UPS or FedEx I will not have this problem if you use the proper people I'm very disappointed in Walmart

failed after 2 months, but still within the extended return time around christmas, Walmart said I could return it to the store, and when I did, they said I couldn't return it to the store because it was electronics and more than 30 days, I had to make another trip to Fedex to return it there. Haven't seen my refund yet. Bad experience with walmart for their returns.

Extremely loud and very low output heater. I purchased this as a small heater to warm my side of the bedroom a little before sleep (we have large windows on the lake and I thought it might take the chill off. It's unbearably loud and really disappointing.

Will not come on while sitting on flat surface. The safety button on the bottom doesn't depress far enough for the heater to turn on. If we depress the button while holding the heater it comes on. As soon as we sit it back down it goes off. We have tried to get it to function correctly on all different settings. It will not operate on its own normally sitting on a flat surface.
