A TERRIFIC TOASTER BAR NONE. I KEEP MINE SET AT ABOUT 3 OR 4 ON THE DIAL AND THE TOAST/BAGELS/EGGO WAFFLES AND EVEN TEXAS TOAST, ARE DONE TO PERFECTION. PLEASE DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE LOW PRICE FOR FEAR IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK...IT'S NOT !!! THE BLACK FINISH IS A SNAP TO CLEAN WITH A LITTLE "409" (AFTER THE EXTERIOR HAS COOLED OFF OF COURSE AND YOU HAVE UNPLUGGED THE UNIT) AND IF YOU ARE WONDERING HOW TO CLEAN THE CRUMBS OUT, JUST PULL OUT THE SLIDE TRAY AT THE BOTTOM REAR OF THE UNIT. TO OBTAIN PERFECTION WHEN TOASTING...READ YOUR MANUAL !! :-)

The toaster works great. I started on the low side of the settings and toast was an even brown. I think if you have a thick slice of bread like a bagel u might need a higher setting. I am pleased with it, however the cord is fairly short so you need to have an outlet close by. Not a deal breaker for me. Estheticly it's pleasant to look at on counter

I love how wide the slots are because I can fit so many different types of bread and bagels. It seems to toast stuff pretty quick so far too. It works way better than my old toaster as far as toasting both sides equally and that's something I love about this toaster as well!

I like the Black and Decker toaster. Bagel slices fit nicely and It toasts bread very evenly. I would recommend this toaster to anyone.

I had to buy a new toaster as the one I had died!! I picked Black and Decker as their products are top notch. Toaster works just fine. I certainly recommend it!!

I have had several name brand toasters in the past but none of them toasted on both sides...would have to flip the bread after one side was toasted. Finally a toaster that really works and it was very affordable!! I highly recommend this toaster!!!

I got this for $18.49 and that was a bargain. I prefer chords that feed from the back not side front but the price was right.

For some reason the toast and then frozen waffles also are almost burnedt at recommended temp (dial setting) and so I began to decrease setting scaling down. Still the same.. almost burned result. I do like everything else about it ...however. the way it's toasting is not as I expected.

Its ok but cheaply made. I needed something immediately and this was available. I dont think or have I noticed any difference in bagel, frozen or regular settings.

While, so far, the toaster seems to toast various items O.K., A couple of negatives are: 1.) The cord is only about 6-8 inches long. (usually with an appliance like this they give you 2-3 feet) Thus you have to be right in front of outlet. 2.) Also, the toaster itself is fairly large for a 2 slice toaster. Which means it takes up "more" counter space. Would probably give it 2.5 stars if possible. While the price was right, I'm still considering returning it.
