This is a very nice set. Was expecting drill driver and light attachment and got the sanding attachment set. Pleasant surprise. It will come in handy as I need to sand on my MGB-GT in prep for paint job, so will be very handy. Look forward to using it. BD products are in my experience very reliable.

When it comes to fixing things I am the one who does it and yes I am a woman. This will be my third electric drill . I still have the others but I needed something with more strength because I don't have as much strength in my arms as I did . Let me tell you the drill is great! I just fixed my chair I tightened all the screws super fast and nice and tight. I also fixed my fan that the blade had come off I had to unscrew all the screws and it was super fast and easy. You just slide the lever to the side to adjust which way you want the screw to go either out or in. The light it has is great just enough to get the job done. I love the upright position the Black and Decker screwdriver stays in. The rechargeable battery is a good one, one charge lasts a long time.The case is really nice I like that it is a hard case well made and there is extra room for screws and what not. The sander is easy to handle. Has extra pads and is well made. I love this Black & Decker set, everyone should have this in there home.

When I received the Black and Decker two combo tool kit from Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program, it felt like Christmas. What a great gift with no cost to me! I have used Black and Decker products for years and have been very happy with them because they are easy to understand and operate. In addition, I love cordless because it is convenient and dependable. The Black & Decker cordless drill/driver #LDX120 came with one 20 Volt Max Lithium-Ion battery, one charger, ten drill bit set, LED light and a three eights keyless chuck inside the tool case. At first, I was disappointed because I could not locate the double ended bit; however, I found it right on the bottom of the drill. Also, included was a 1.2 Amp Mouse detail sander, ten sanding pads, detail finger attachment for small areas and dust collection canister . Instruction manuals are included with a two year warranty. I am getting a lot of use from the drill and sander around my home and it is more than I expected. After my experience with Black & Decker products, I know that I will enjoy this gift for many years to come.

When I selected the B&D 20V 2 TOOL KIT from the Spark Reviewer program, I wasn't sure what I was getting. I was really happy when I saw it was not only a drill/driver, but a detail sander as well. The drill/driver has 20 volts which is plenty of power for a homeowner. It is a cinch to switch from drill to driver (just a button push) and switching bits is easy too. This comes with a cool LED light that illuminates where you're working which is especially handy when in those dark corners. There are 10 drill bits ranging from 1/16” to ¼”. And on the back of the unit is storage for a double-ended bit. The speed is adjusted by how much pressure is applied to the trigger. When in driver position there is an adjustment for torque, forward and backward, and it's got a keyless chuck. The detail sander comes with 10 sanding sheets, 5 P120's and 5 P240's. They attach to the sanding surface by the hook-and-loop method. I was afraid this method wouldn't hold them on long, but when you let the sander do the work and don't put too much pressure on the tool, there's no problem there. The tip of the sander surface removes by a screw and there's a finger attachment that goes in there, extending the unit for getting into small areas. Very handy. Attached is a dust collection bag that snaps on and off. Both of these tools are pretty lightweight and easy to use comfortably for an extended period of time. There is only 1 battery pack and a charger. This would be a great gift for any DIYer!

Black and Decker 20 Volt Lithium Ion 2- Tool Combo Kit First of all this set comes in a nice caring case. Everything fits inside the kit. The drill / driver, sand paper, drill bits, battery, battery charger, instructions. Drill / Driver and MOUSE Sander. This is a nice handy kit. The drill is also a driver. Not to big to hold easy to use. Just charge the battery with the charger that comes with the 2 pc set and attach the battery to either the drill or the sander and you are ready to go. Has nice speed good for all sorts of drilling.It comes with a set of drill bits. The drill also has a Phillips / regular driver head that is attached to the drill. The drill has a LED light making it nice to see. The sander is nice compacted and easy to use and the triangle shape make it easy to get into corners. The sander comes with Sand paper. The combo kit comes with One 20 volt rechargeable battery that interchanges with both of the power tools.. I would recommend these Black and Decker Battery operated tools my husband and I have many different Black and Decker Battery Operated tools and this is a nice addition to our tools.

I've been wanting a battery-operated drill/driver for quite a while and when this set showed up, I jumped on it! I love Black and Decker and trust the name. I've had tools, small appliances, and on and on and have always been very pleased with them. I have only "played" with it so far, since I haven't really had a project I had time to start. I intend to use it to sand some wood chairs to repaint. Since all of the wood is fairly straight with no curves, this should be perfect. I just need to get more sandpaper of both kinds that are included. Love the little finger sander for tight places! This is SO convenient to use, no cord to plug in, no extension cord to use if there is no plug nearby (as in the case when hanging curtain rods in a bedroom). This isn't the heavy-duty battery-operated drill my ex had, but then again, I'm not going to be using it to build a wooden fence and drill into 6x6 posts. It already has most of the drill bits you would need and a Phillips head and straight screwdriver combo on the drill itself. It's basically complete for use around the house. It is perfect for my needs and most light- to medium-duty uses I will ever have for it around my house. The only thing that would have made this kit better is a second battery. But that would have raised the cost, so I'm very happy with it.

My husband owns a lot of tools and the majority of those tools are Black & Decker tools. But he did not have a drill with a light. I know it seems like a fairly small thing but he says it would save a lot of headache. He says every time he needs to drill in a dark space he has to hold a pen light in his month. With this drill there's a LED light that frees up his other hand (or his mouth!) What he really likes about his black and decker tools is they all use the same battery bricks. Everything from his leaf blower to his weed eater use the same brick. This set is one of the nicer sets black and decker has come up with offering a 2 tool combo. Comes with the obvious drill and sander and charger. But comes with a nice carrying case, a set of drill bits, and a bunch of extra sanding pads. (10 pcs.). He says he really likes the grip on both the drill and the mouse sander. It has a no slip like feel to it. Black and decker means quality and my husband refuses to buy cheap tools. Cheap tools can some times mean injuries and down right wasting money. That's why he's bought black and decker tools in the past. He highly recommends this set for anyone. --I was given the opportunity to use and review the Black & Decker 2 Tool Kit. This kit includes a 20V Max* Cordless Drill model LDX120, a 20V Max Mouse Sander model BDCMS20, 1 battery for use of both tools at different times, and the AC battery charger. It also includes sanding sheets shaped to fit the Sander as well as a finger attachment, drill bits, and a screw-driver bit that fits into a slot-holder on the back side above the battery. These are all inside a nice plastic case with a see through lid. The charger and the instruction manuals are underneath the ‘holder' that holds the 2 tools and other accessories. --The charger and battery pack can be left connected with the green LCD glowing indefinitely. The charger will keep the battery pack fresh and fully charged. The drill has a light that comes on when you use the On/Off Trigger Switch. --I really like the small size of both the driller and the sander. I have had 2 larger drills but they are bulky and heavy and just too much of a hassle when I had a simple job to do. This drill will be really nice and helpful to have and I have already used to tighten some screws that I have been putting off. --I am looking forward to using the sander on the top of my car and the top of the trunk before I put a base coat and repaint [the sun & elements have removed a lot of paint]. I drive a 1998 Ford Escort and with this lighter weight sander, I have a feeling that I will just sand and repaint my entire car. Unfortunately, I do not have a garage and the weather here has either been too cold, too wet, and/or too windy. I have turned the sander on as well as checking everything so I am looking forward to finally fixing my car by using the sander and the finger attachment, for the more detailed areas. --These two tools will be perfect to have for your typical handiwork around the house. I am not certain how long the battery will last and the instructions do say not to run the battery down, therefore I do not feel that this would be for a carpenter or someone who would use a drill and or a sandy for heavy-duty work. --But for a typical household, yes, this Black & Decker 2-tool kit will be very nice to have.

The black+decker 20 volt drill is just as good as the big name brands only at a bargan price and I love the 20 volt cordless mouse sander its great for thoes tight corners and you dont have the hassle of the cord .there Great!!!!!

The Black & Decker 20 volt lithium ion 2 Tool Combo Kit is a decent home tool kit. Definitely not professional-grade, but still more than enough for your average homeowner. The 20 volt battery provides a decent amount of power that will carry you through just about any small task around the house. It would really be nice to have a second battery. Extra batteries can be purchased individually, but they are pricey. I have not used the tool enough to provide a reasonable comment on the longevity of the battery. The drill unit is a variable speed drill. Most heavy duty drills will have a low and a high setting that allows you to either produce higher revolutions or higher torque depending upon your need. This drill is variable speed but only has one setting. It seems to do fairly well at driving in screws into hardwood but it struggles more then I would like it too. The grip has enough rubber on it to make it slip resistant and comfortable. The drill chuck is primarily plastic but still decent for the average homeowner purposes. The drill has a clip to store a single drill bit. One dual ended bit is included with the package. The sander is a hook and loop based system similar to all of the other Black & Decker Mouse style sanders that have been on the market for a number of years. I have not had enough experience with this particular unit to determine how well the dust collector will work. Based on experience with a number of other Black & Decker mouse style sanders, I expect that this will not do a tremendous job of collecting dust. It's still better than nothing. Just like on the drill, the handle of the sander has well-placed sections of rubber that allow you to grip the sander for a variety of applications. You should be able to control it easily regardless what angle you are sanding. The kit comes complete with 10 pieces of sandpaper. Five are 120 Grit and five are 240 Grit. That should be adequate for a starter or practice projects. The sander has a finger that can be attached to the hook and loop base that will allow you to extend the reach of the sander into tight corners and other small places. You need a Phillips head screwdriver in order to attach the finger. The battery charger is the smallest one I have seen for any sort of a rechargeable drill it's simply a clip unit that attaches to the bottom of a battery. You plug it in and watch the indicator light to determine the status of the battery. Also included with the package is a small collection of drill bits. Again these are adequate for your average homeowner. All of the tools come in a plastic case with a clear plastic lid. While the case looks nice, there seems to be an issue with the way the lid opens. It takes a little finagling to get the case to open easily. I can see where the hinges could easily be broken if someone was not careful every single time they open the case. The insert in the case has a place for every part of the kit. The insert makes for a nice display, but it is a pain to get the tools out of their home. As far as I am concerned, the case is a keeper but the insert will soon be discarded. Overall the Black & Decker 20 volt lithium ion 2 tool combo kit is a great starter kit for the homeowner. It is not intended for professional use or as a replacement for someone who has got a full collection of tools. As long as you are not looking for a professional heavy duty driver and sander, I would recommend this kit as a good place to start.
