I bought the BD Impact and Screw Driver to put together my kids play set. I was not disappointed at all. The batteries lasted all day long on one charge. The tools provided excellent power to drive both screws and bolts. I'm very pleased with the performance and low cost of these products especially when comparing them to the other drivers on the market for twice the price.
works great for my around the house needs.saves time and battery last a long time before recharging.
this is an excellent tool. great power to drive screws. i just spent the day building 8 ft tall shelves in my garage, open shelves in my kitchen, and shelves in my basement food storage room. this made the work easy. my hand was wearing out before this impact driver was. the battery was still very full after probably 5 hours of work. i drilled a dozen holes or so, without issue. then spent hours driving screws into 2x4s and plywood. i'm just some regular dude who does basic projects around my home. this tool was plenty. all i really need. i don't doubt that the brushless motor version is more efficient and powerful, but unless you literally professionally do this kind of work day in and day out, i can't imagine this brush engine version being insufficient for weekend (home) warrior work. the work i did today is about the roughest kind of day i'd ever put a tool through. and i don't think i even used half the battery power. i only have 1 battery. started fully charged. and when i was done, i put it in the charger and it was recharged in like 30 minutes. (and i don't even have the speed charger... just the basic one.) anyway, great tool and great price. in the future when this one eventually gives out or if it ever does i'll prolly buy the brushless version just to check it and see if it's different out better or whatever. but for the kind of home projects i do, this tool is certainly good to go.
I have been using my 20V cordless impact driver for putting up furring strips on concrete block to hang sheet rock. I love this tool. I will tire out before it runs out of juice. Has been a great tool tough and works well. It's a must have if you need to work on concrete. So much better than dealing with a cord dragging behind you.
I thought I was all set with my cordless drill for driving screws. ( Boy was I wrong) An impact driver is a must have for driving screws effortlessly and this Black an Decker does the job with ease. It's the kind of tool that you don't know how much you needed it until you get it. Now I could NOT do without it.
Quality impact driver. I have used the same impact driver for years without a problem. I love the durability. Not to mention the quality is great. It has the strength I need to complete most of my electrical jobs. The battery life lasts without having to recharge constantly which is a plus for me.
It was a no brainer to upgrade to the 20V MAX impact driver, as I've been wanting, and needing to update from my aging (other brand) drill. I have the chain saw, trimmer from this product line and ALL are perfect products for me. The impact driver is a needed upgrade from the standard drill for me. It has been flawless and I'm very happy with this tool and its performance.
I bought this as an emergency purchase a little while back and I am pretty dang impressed. I use this driver more than my others now. It does everything I ask it to and chews it up and spits it out.
Drives screws home very well. Good power. Would be handy to have an extra battery on hand for any project lasting more than an hour.
A Very reliable tool. I Use on all my projects daily.
