mine came with a defective battery and I had to contact the seller who passed on the battery information to the manufacturer. Ijust received a new, working battery! The blower itself is 2 speed and works well on yhe lower speed, but excells at the higher speed. it has some real power in high and can move piles of wet, matted leaves easily. So good battery, good blower - I'm a happy camper!
Looks all right, BUT battery charger does not work. I have emailed the seller, but have not heard back about a replacement. Blower does work, with a 20V battery I already had, and battery that came with the blower will charge on a charger that I already had. But, I'd like to get a working battery charger that I paid for.
I think if I ever get to talk with someone soon, I can get a problem settled and will be happy. However, the one I talked with yesterday has not got back to me.
Will only run for 5 minutes and charged battery 20.2 volts then gets to 16.8 volts and wont run. Have 2 other batteries for 20 volt chsin saw and a hedge clipper and blower drains them both in aboit 5-6 minutes. Ordered a 20volt 4Ahr battery going to wait to see what it does. Will in all likelihood return blower for another.
Sorry I wasted my money!! I am really surprised at this. I have had an older leaf blower by Black and Decker with no issues at all. But this one is a different story. Right out of the box the battery didn't work. Tried with no success to get it replaced but no luck. Using batteries from the older blower, will run a couple minutes and cut off. I'm really disappointed and upset!!!!
The included battery of the one I purchased does not charge, and the blower will only run for about 10 seconds on an alternate charged battery. I'm hopeful that I just lucked into a dud, and that another may work just fine, but it's not reassuring..
Battery would not charge. Contacted seller and Walmart and so far no resolution. Will rethink being a rewards member. Amazon is much more customer friendly.
The battery they came in the box will not hold a charge and all attempts to remedy have been unsuccessful.
Battery will not charge…company can't replace just battery. Four or five communications and they finally said I could return it to the store. Now I'm just annoyed…will use an old battery I had! Terrible customer service
It came with a bad battery just like so many others warned in the reviews. Since it's a 3rd party you can't return it to Walmart directly. Was a pain to return. Save yourself the trouble and buy something else.
